When Chitthip came to Greenville Residence with a thermos cup in her hand, as she knocked on the door, she faintly heard Jennie's voice coming from inside.

"I'm not eating anymore. You bought a bunch of nutritious stews. I only have a cold. No way, I have to go get some salted vegetables."

"Eat this. After you eat it, you'll break out in a sweat. Perhaps the fever will be better by tomorrow. You'll have to listen to me." Subsequently, Lisa's gentle and loving voice sounded out.

Chitthip smiled and knocked on the door. After a while, the door opened. Lisa looked at his mother and the thermos in her hand. "Mom?"

Jennie quickly went to the fridge to get some of the salted vegetables she bought earlier. Hearing a voice coming from in front of the door, she came out from the kitchen and saw Chitthip smiling at her. "Mom, it's too late, why are you here?"

Chitthip coughed for a bit and then muttered with a displeased expression. "Your dad had a little trouble in the military sector today, so he's not in a good mood. He kept wearing a long face when he got home, and I didn't even want to look at his expression. Are Leo and Lily already asleep? Since you two have already eaten, I can also give this soup to the children."

Needless to say, both Jennie and Lisa could see that Chitthip wanted to spend the night there.

Jennie smiled. "They are asleep now. Mom, it's too late. If you don't want to go back, you can stay here."

Without needing Chitthip to say anything, Jennie directly gave her mother-in-law a way out. Chitthip immediately beamed with happiness, "Jennie, you really know my heart and is much more considerate than that spoiled girl!"

As she spoke, she carried a thermos and walked in, saying, "After Somi got married, she should be returning to the country and spending some time with us. Isn't that Wei person overseeing Manoban Enterprise? Lisa, think of a way to bring Somi back. She has to take care of her child every day and is busy handling the company's matters at the same time. I haven't seen her for a while."

Jennie didn't say anything, she only looked at Lisa.

How can they not understand? Although Somi did not tell her family about her situation, Chitthip was not stupid. She understood her daughter.

If Somi lived a good life, she would definitely come home often. After all, Diana was no longer in the Manoban Family, and there weren't many people in the family she didn't want to interact with.

Lisa signaled to Jennie to take the thermos from Chitthip's hand and bring it to the kitchen first.

Jennie took it and went into the kitchen, then she heard Chitthip laughing. "Why is the guest bedroom's door open? Did you two know I was coming?"

"Jennie has a fever and is afraid of infecting the children. She plans to sleep there tonight."

Lisa took a blanket on the couch and told Chitthip to sit first. Then he asked, "You came to my place again. Did dad know that you are here?"

"Why should he know? It's not like you don't know your father's temperament. I had endured it for years and I don't want to see your father's rotten face all day again."

Chitthip took off her jacket disapprovingly and tidying up a few magazines on the tea table, "I can't wait to get out and get myself an apartment right now. I don't have any energy to quarrel with your father all the time. If it wasn't for your grandfather, I would've already gone back to the United States and accompanied Somi."

Jennie poured a glass of juice and said, "Mom, let's drink the juice first."

"Lisa told me you have a fever and going to sleep in the guest bedroom tonight. With me here, where are you going to sleep?" Chitthip turned her head and looked at Jennie with a smile, "How about this, I will stay together with Leo and Lily tonight. It's been a while since Lisa and you spend time together. I didn't want to disturb your lovey-dovey moment."

Jennie's face instantly turned slightly red. "Mom!"

Lisa took the magazine that Chitthip had tidied up and put it aside. When he saw Jennie's red face, he smiled. "Leo and Lily are too tired from playing during the day, so they won't get up in the middle of the night. Mom can accompany them, but if they wake up, mom can wake us up."

Chitthip nodded as she looked at the dishes on the table, "Has Jennie not eaten dinner yet? Hurry up and go eat. I'll go and see the children."

She then stood up and walked towards the master bedroom.

As Chitthip entered the bedroom, Jennie turned and glanced at Lisa. Lisa was also looking at her.

Jennie felt a little dizzy. She couldn't help but give him another glance before going to the kitchen. Afterwards, she ate some of the soup that Chitthip had brought.

Although Chitthip didn't have much talent in cooking, after so many years of learning from Nanny Cheng, the taste was very authentic and not bad.

Chitthip said this soup was made by Nanny Cheng, and she brought it here so late on purpose. She must have made it herself, but fearing that Jennie wouldn't dare to drink it, so she used Nanny Cheng's name.

Chitthip had been learning to make soups and dishes for the past years. The real motive behind this was that she wanted to find some opportunities to give Leo and Lily some food to eat in order to get close to them.

Jennie casually fiddled with the fishbone in her bowl and was in deep thought.

It looked like she needed to find some time to go back and stay at the Residence with Lisa. She couldn't keep herself locked in Greenville Residence like this forever. Leo and Lily needed to enjoy the happiness that comes from the Manoban Family.

"Lis, is there any news about Diana?"

As the night dragged on, Jennie casually asked before returning to their bedroom.

Lisa didn't answer and remained silent.

After a few seconds, he shifted his gaze to her. "Go to sleep. Before going to bed, take another cold medicine."

Seeing that he didn't answer her question, Jennie didn't ask any further questions.

Jennie knew that the Manoban Family loathed Diana as a person, and although they could not tolerate her, after all, she had lived in the Family for more than twenty-one years.

A year ago, Jennie heard that Diana found a very rich man outside, but that man was a drug dealer and was later arrested. She hadn't heard anything about her since.

Jennie went back to the bedroom and laid down for a while. When she saw that the lights in the living room were still on, she couldn't help but peek into the living room. She saw Lisa was sitting on the couch with a laptop on the coffee table.

"Lis, you didn't sleep well last night. Aren't you sleepy?"

Lisa shifted his gaze from the laptop to her and smiled, "Go to sleep first. After taking the medicine, you need to go to bed earlier. That way, your fever will slowly be healed."

Somehow, Jennie was a little disappointed. She glanced at him again, then went back to the bedroom.

After a while, the lights were still on in the living room, Jennie sat up again, scratched her hair, got out of bed, and walked out. She walked over to the couch and sat down. "Hubby ~"
