Jennie's eyes were filled with worry. "My mother has been planning to take revenge on the Manoban Family step by step when she had the chance to leave that place, but she didn't fully implement these plans because of me. However ... What you don't know is that although she is pretending to be crazy at that time, she will sometimes have a mental breakdown."

"I let her stay in the Kim Family Residence because this place is her biggest mental knot, and only because this is where she can calm down. I hired servants to take care of her and accompany her to live a peaceful life here every day, but once Senior Zhou showed up, I don't know if my mother would continue to calm down."

Lisa held her hand. "Let's go inside and take a look."

Jennie nodded and walked inside with Lisa.

Two people next to the car looked at them and seemed to recognize Jennie and Lisa, so they didn't say anything. They just stood there silently the whole time.

"Mommy, are we going to see grandma?" Leo, who obediently walked behind them, looked around, and when he recognized the yard, he quickly asked.

"Big brother, you are so stupid! This is grandmother's house, of course we are here to see her." Lily said while sticking her tongue out to Leo.

Since it was inconvenient for Secretary Tan to enter, she quickly stopped in front of the door. She pushed her glasses on her nose and when she received Lisa's gaze, she quickly pulled Leo and Lily towards her. "Hey kids. Why don't you two follow me? I will take you guys to buy ice cream, then you can go see your grandmother, okay?"

Once the children were taken away, Jennie knocked on the door until a housekeeper came to open it. When she saw Jennie, she nodded at her.

When the housekeeper saw Lisa standing next to Jennie, she was stunned for a moment. Jennie smiled faintly and said, "This is my husband, Lisa."

"Ah, you are Mr. Manoban. Hello, please come in." The housekeeper immediately smiled and stepped out their way.

As they entered, they saw that the living room was clean and tidy, and there were no signs of Senior Zhou and Chaerin. Jennie asked confusedly, "Where is my mother?"

"This ..." The housekeeper hesitated.

Seeing the housekeeper seemed hesitant to say something, Jennie quickly walked into the living room and looked around. As Lisa walked next to her, he saw a box of cigarettes on the tea table. He picked it up and looked at it for a moment before turning to look at the housekeeper. "Does Senior Zhou come here often?"

Seeing that Lisa was holding a box of cigarettes that Senior Zhou had placed on the tea table, the housekeeper could only nod and sighed. "Senior Zhou started to come here half a month ago, but Madam refused to see him. Last week, Madam went out to see someone. When she came back, she seemed to be low-spirited and stopped eating or drinking. Since the situation had come to this, Senior Zhou took advantage of this loophole and stayed here for two days to take care of her. However, Madam's condition did not improve at all. Senior Zhou still had to be on upstairs, watching over her."

Lisa put down the cigarette box, then asked in a flat voice. "Who did she meet?"

"Who did my mother see?" Jennie also asked at the same time.

Since Chaerin was able to keep her father, Senior Zhou, away from the door, that meant she was very clear-headed. But who else could cause Chaerin, who was so clear-headed, to be like this until she stopped eating and drinking?

The housekeeper didn't seem to know what to say. However, she was hired by Jennie, and the person who paid her salary was also Jennie, so she hesitantly opened her mouth.

Jennie's face stiffened when she heard the name.

"She went to see Jihoon?" Jennie frowned and immediately turned around to look Lisa in the eye.

"When did it happen?" Lisa frowned while asking the housekeeper.

"Every Wednesday, Madam would accompany me to clean the backyard. But that day, she received a phone call and told me to get her a taxi, and then she left by car. When she left, she was still fine, but she seemed to have changed when she returned. She's not saying a word, not crying, not smiling, and not even eating some food." The housekeeper replied anxiously, "I also found out about this a few nights ago when Madam was talking in her sleep."

Jennie pursed her lips but didn't say anything.

When the housekeeper saw the situation, she hurriedly said, "I'm sorry, Miss Kim. I was the one who failed to protect the Madam and let her meet someone she shouldn't have met. I ..."

"It's not your fault. Don't blame yourself. I'll go and see her." Jennie quickly calmed her expression and nodded to the housekeeper before she went upstairs.

Lisa didn't rush after her but instead looked around and noticed that the furniture in the Kim Family Residence was exactly as before. Chaerin had been living here for a year, and nothing seemed to have changed at all.

Jennie walked up the stairs and when she reached the door of the room, the door was opened from the inside. Senior Zhou, whom she had not seen for a long time, stood in the doorway.

When he saw Jennie, he was not at all surprised, as if he already knew of her arrival. "You are here. Where's Lisa? Isn't he here with you?"

Jennie glanced at Senior Zhou and paused. She nodded calmly. "He's downstairs. He'll be here soon. What do you want to talk to him about?"

"When he was recovering in America, I couldn't visit him. Now that I know that he has returned and married you, I want to have a good look at the both of you."

Seeing that Jennie was not displeased with his presence, Senior Zhou was happy. He immediately signaled her to come in and said, "Come in. Your mother is still asleep. Speak softly. Don't wake her up."

Jennie came in and saw Chaerin lying on the bed, sleeping soundly.

Seeing Senior Zhou's relaxed posture, Jennie slowly walked to the bed. She looked at Chaerin carefully before turning around and asking, "How is my mother?"

Senior Zhou sat on the couch not too far away. He brought a cup of tea to his mouth and blew it gently before taking a sip. He then looked at her. "I asked the doctor to examine her condition yesterday and her condition is quite stable. It's just that the housekeeper you hired was a little bit scared when she saw this situation."

"Maybe it's because the housekeeper didn't know what had happened to Chaerin, so when she's suddenly depressed, the housekeeper didn't know what to do. Actually, it's not that serious. Let her rest for a while longer."
