Jihoon was the first one to get out. Then he went to the passenger side and pulled Lian off the car. Lian crossed over a shallow puddle on the side of the road and muttered in dissatisfaction from time to time.

Jennie looked at them indifferently. She slowly stood behind the window and looked at them. She saw Lian's anxious expression. When Jihoon saw a nurse come out, he immediately asked her for something. The nurse pointed in Jennie's direction.

Jennie's face darkened when she saw that in Jihoon's hand, there was a basket of fruit and gifts. She quickly walked back to the elevator.

When she returned to Lisa's floor, she saw that Chitthip and the others had not yet arrived. Jennie walked back to the ward and slowly opened the door.

Lisa was sitting on the edge of the bed, with a needle in his hand, and though his face was still pale, he looked to be in much better spirits. Old Man was sitting beside the bed with a solemn expression, as if he was discussing something serious with him.

A solemn and serious expression that Jennie had never seen before.

Seeing this scene, Jennie paused in front of the door.

Seeing that Jennie had returned, Lisa immediately looked at her and could see that she wanted to say something but was hesitant. He then smiled softly. "What's wrong?"

Old Man also turned to look at her. "Spoiled girl, I heard someone calling Somi's name from outside. Is it Somi?"

Jennie didn't know how to explain what was happening, so she could only say, "Jihoon and Lian are here."

Almost at the same time, the smile on Old Man's face faded. He looked at Lisa, who was still smiling faintly.

"Speaking of the devil and they'll be here." Lisa said calmly, "Looks like they're here to scout out the situation."

Old Man nodded. "The perpetrator has been caught, but the mastermind is still fleeing. Even so, this person's statement is enough to ruin the Kim Family. I'm afraid they want to take advantage of this situation and gain some leeway."

Lisa didn't say anything else because Jennie had already walked into the room. In the blink of an eye, Jihoon walked in with Lian, who was dressed in simple and unadorned clothes.

Indeed, Lisa had inherited Old Man's attitude. When the Old Man saw them enter, his original indifferent and serious expression turned into a polite smile. As if he didn't know anything, he laughed and said, "Why is Jihoon here?"

They both placed baskets of fruit and gifts on the small table. Lian rubbed both of her hands. At first, she wanted to say something, but then she felt it wasn't good for her to speak first, so she looked at Jihoon.

Jihoon couldn't help but smile and said, "I heard that a few days ago, Lisa was seriously injured in a car accident. After all, he is Lian's nephew and after she heard the news, she immediately asked me to accompany her and fly to H City on the same day."

Seeing that Lisa was still safe and sound, Jihoon clearly felt relieved, as if he had finally got a chance to live. He smiled at the Old Man and then looked at Lisa, who showed no change in expression. "Lisa, this is a supplement that Aunt Lian bought for you on the way here, as well as some of the fruit you love to eat. Aunt Lian is more interested in you than her daughter. Usually, no matter how much she spoils Nancy, she will not be able to remember the fruits that she likes to eat. However, when we were at the fruit shop today, she practically remembered all the fruit you loved when you were young."

Jennie had been silent the entire time and is quietly peeling apples from the side. With a look in his eyes, Lisa signaled her to sit down beside him.

Jennie walked over with the apple and fruit knife in her hand. She sat by the side of the bed, smiling faintly at Lisa as she listened to the couple behind her.

"Yeah, everyone says that nephew is closer to aunt. These words are indeed true." Old Man stood up with a smile and held his cane. "Well, since you two come here to see Lisa, then I will leave first. You guys have a talk."

With that, the Old Man calmly walked to the door of the ward. Jihoon quickly said, "You didn't need to leave. After all, we are family here."

Although Jihoon said that, he didn't stop the Old Man.

Only after Old Man had left did Lian finally step forward. She glanced at Lisa and then at Jennie, who was sitting on the edge of the bed and who was obviously too much of a hindrance to her eyes.

Lian looked at Lisa and wanted him to invite Jennie out as well.

However, Lisa pretended not to understand her actions. He just smiled and glanced at Lian. "Aunt Lian's eyes are not comfortable?"

Immediately, Lian awkwardly lifted her hand to stroke her hair.

"That... Lisa, how is your mother these days?"

"My mother?" Lisa smiled faintly, and his beautiful eyebrows raised slightly. "She is in pretty good condition. She should go to the market with Nanny Cheng now."

"Oh, as long as she's in good shape, then it's fine. I'm worried she might feel worried because of your condition." Lian immediately laughed and her tone became more relaxed.

Lisa then laughed innocently, "It's not like you don't know my mother. Her heart is too big and even though she should be angry, she can still think about it more deeply. Furthermore, she never did anything shameful in her life. However, Aunt Lian's face doesn't look too good. You probably haven't slept well in these few days, right?"

Lisa's innocent words made Jennie unable to hold back her laughter. Because her back was facing Jihoon and Lian, they didn't notice a change in her expression.

Jennie only smiled for a moment before hurriedly covering her mouth with her hand.

She raised her eyes to look at Lisa and saw that he was still calmly glancing at the couple with a smile that was not a smile.

It was unknown if Jihoon and Lian heard the sarcasm in Lisa's words. Jihoon chuckled and changed the topic. "Lisa, it seems you are in good spirits now."

Lian also agreed. "That's right. No matter what happens, you have to take care of yourself first!"

"It was just a small wound, I didn't expect Aunt Lian and Uncle would come here to visit." As he spoke, Lisa's hand gently pressed Jennie's hand that was still peeling the apple. He looked at her and said softly, "Aren't your hands tired? Idiot, the most nutritious way to eat an apple is along with the skin."

Jennie's mouth twitched as she whispered, "I'm afraid your stomach still can't accept hard food. After all, you haven't eaten in a few days."

Lisa just smiled and calmly took the apple in her hand, not letting her peel it anymore. After that, he looked at Jihoon with a happy smile, "Uncle, have you been busy lately?"

Seeing that Lisa clearly didn't intend to change the topic, Jihoon hesitated for a moment. Then Lian walked forward and said with a smile, "Lisa, we came to H City this time for two reasons. One is to see you. Two ... We know the father of the perpetrator, but don't worry, we aren't here to plead for them. In fact, the mastermind behind this is the son of a board member of our company. He is a good friend to Nancy. That kid is too young and too hot-tempered. Perhaps it was because he's a good friend to Nancy, so he took responsibility and did some outrageous things for her."

"But you have to believe that this matter definitely has nothing to do with Nancy and us! If something happens to that brat right now, he will probably hold a grudge against Nancy and maybe he will implicate her when he confesses."

"Nancy is your cousin and even if she doesn't understand anything in the past few years and is immature, she will definitely not do all this, let alone, the one who is hurt this time is you, Lisa."

After saying this, Lian took a banana and gave it to Jennie, "Jennie, you also look haggard recently. Don't just spend your time taking care of Lisa. You have to take care of your own body too. You're a mother now. Here, eat more fruits."
