Leo and Lily had lived in a good environment since birth and have never been malnourished. The condition of the two children was good even though they were in the pool all day. When Jennie was little, she had a high fever until it got worse before Lian took her to the hospital.

Lisa looked at her seriously. He got up and carried the two children who were sleeping on the bed to his side so that they would not be infected. Then he went to find medicine.

Helpless, Jennie raised her hand to touch her forehead. She didn't feel the temperature was too hot and probably her hands' temperature was hot, that's why Lisa knew she was not well. She could only sit on the bed motionlessly while Lisa went looking for medicine.

"I'm not a spoiled girl. This cold will heal soon. I'm still young, and I won't be sick for the rest of my life. I'll be fine, I just have to rest." Jennie rubbed her head again and said with an indifferent smile.

Lisa glanced at her and ignored her. He carefully searched the medicine box as if he was looking for the right medicine for her to take now.

Previously, Lisa had instructed Jennie to take medication before bed. Since she was too sleepy and exhausted, she didn't take it. She thought after getting sleep, she would be fine. Who would have thought that she would be so unlucky?

Jennie was about to get out of bed when Lisa took the medicine and walked out.

Jennie casually put on a cardigan and followed behind him. Seeing that he had already poured a glass of water for her, she giggled as she accepted it.

Seeing Jennie still smiling, Lisa was helpless. "Take this medicine. Have you ever had such a bad fever in the last two years?"

Jennie drank the water and took medicine while shaking her head. She then said in a muffled voice, "No."

Lisa raised his hand and touched her forehead, a slight crease appearing on his forehead. "In half an hour, if your temperature still doesn't subside, we go to the clinic."

Jennie widened her eyes indifferently and handed the glass of water to him. "I'm going to sleep in the guest bedroom tonight. I'm afraid I might infect the kids."

"You'll go alone?" Lisa glanced towards the guest bedroom and casually said, "I'll accompany you"

"No, Leo and Lily are still too young, this is the first time for them to sleep on their own. If one of them wakes up in the middle of the night and sees that both of us aren't by their side, I'm afraid they'll cry. You stay with them."

After saying that, Jennie turned around to go to her temporary bedroom.

Lisa was about to say something when Jennie's stomach beat him first.

*Gu. Gu.*

Time seemed to stop. Jennie's footsteps became stiff as she turned around. Lisa also looked at her. Their eyes met, and no one said anything.

However, a sense of helplessness slowly appeared in Lisa's eyes.

Jennie's face immediately flushed. She rubbed her stomach and laughed embarrassingly.

Lisa wrapped his arms around her waist, pulling her into his embrace. "Are you hungry?"

Jennie nodded her head in embarrassment. "I slept all night without eating. I was starving. My stomach was getting worse and worse. It needs food, if not, it will cry."

Lisa looked at her with a funny expression. Seeing her embarrassed expression, he glanced at her stomach. "It seems like there's something wrong with your stomach. I have to ask it properly."

After saying that, he bent down and patted her stomach gently. He then said seriously, "Are you hungry? What do you want to eat?"

Then, after a while, he nodded again and said seriously, "Eh? Is that so? Okay, I'll ask her."

Jennie giggled at his serious expression, and the heat on her face also disappeared. She smiled at him and asked, "How is it? What did my stomach tell you?"

Lisa smiled and put his arm around her shoulder. He lowered his head and kissed her ear. In a soft and gentle voice, he said, "It says that the master can eat whatever she wants, as long as her stomach is full."

Jennie laughed heartily and hit his chest playfully, "How can you be so good at making trouble now? This is not President Manoban, who is regarded by others as solemn and cold. He is clearly a child who has yet to grow up!"

However, Lisa pinched her shoulder and said, "I haven't worked for two years and have temporarily distanced myself from all these troubles. I have to relax. I can't just keep a straight face towards my wife and children, aren't I?"

With that, he leaned close to her ear and whispered with a smile, "Otherwise, I'm afraid my wife will kick me out again."

Jennie pushed him with a frown. Lisa no longer teased her and entered the kitchen, letting her go to the bedroom to get a blanket.

After a while, Jennie, who was playing with the blanket, suddenly turned around and noticed Lisa was leaning against the door, looking at her. She put down the blanket in her hand and asked curiously, "Did you prepare the food quickly? I just took the blanket out of the closet."

"We're running out of rice, what do you want to eat? I'll go out and order take out." Lisa walked towards her and covered her body with a blanket.

"Oh right, I almost forgot. Recently, the weather was very hot, so I didn't dare keep too much stuff at home." Her eyes then brightened up. "It's already so late, some of the restaurants are probably closed. Why don't you go to the nearby KFC and buy something to eat? I just happened to want to drink a Coke and eat some ice cream from there. It's been a while since I ate it."

Lisa raised his eyebrows. Apparently, he didn't have a good impression of things like KFC. When Jennie said she wanted to drink Coke, he glanced at her and said, "Change it."

"I knew it." The corner of Jennie's mouth twitched as she muttered casually.

Lisa chuckled. "You just took medicine. Try to eat fast food as little as you can. It has no nutrition. You can't eat anything too cold right now."

"Then let's go to the seafood restaurant and buy spicy lobster." Jennie said deliberately

Seeing Lisa just looking at her, Jennie held back her laughter before saying in a low voice, "Then why don't we eat spicy steamed shrimp? I wanted to eat shrimp for a long time. Am I still unable to eat that too?"

Lisa then looked at her with a smile and said, "Do you really think I will starve my wife? You ordered a lot of things that were not suitable for the sick."

With that, he turned around and left the room. "I'll go out to see what I can buy. If you're not feeling well, just call me. I'll be back as soon as possible."

Jennie was a thin-skinned girl in front of Lisa after all. She knew that it was not the right time for her to eat these things, so she could only smack her lips as she looked at his back.

When she thought about how Lisa was willing to go out and buy food at such a late hour, her heart felt warm. "You don't have to go out. I'm not that hungry."

Lisa just looked at her with a smile before leaving the house.
