Jennie stayed in the hospital for half a month due to severe bleeding before she was safely taken home. Although Jia's legs and feet were uncomfortable, she played a big role in helping Jennie take care of the babies.

Although these two little things were descendants of the Manoban Family, they were still children born to Jennie. Therefore, Jia loves these two children very much.

In the blink of an eye, Leo and Lily were a month old. Jennie pushed her children's stroller and strolled around the residential area. She then saw in one of the newspapers at the newsstand, there was news about the old cases involving Jihoon and his wife, Lian. They had been arrested and interrogated.

Jennie was only stunned for only a few minutes. The Kim Family had actually been subjected to such a situation.

They had been indicted for large-scale greed cases from a few years ago at certain bureaus in G City. Lian was the person involved in the scandal. As usual, Jihoom was implicated entirely by his wife. He couldn't shrink from his responsibilities just like that.

Jennie bought the newspaper and planned to take a closer look to see what the case was about. When she entered the house, Jia was tidying up the couch.

Jennie placed the newspaper on the coffee table and when Jia saw it, she picked it up and read it.

Why did Jennie always felt that even though Jia hated the Manoban Family, she wasn't very sensitive to many things about Marco? However, every time Jia came in contact with a topic related to Jihoon, her expression would become gloomy and avoid the topic.

Her eyes were always filled with inexplicable sadness because of Jihoom, and every time Jennie looked at her, Jia would turn around and leave.

Seeing Jia sitting on the couch with a newspaper in her hand, Jennie thought of something and gently placed Leo and Lily, who had already finished drinking milk in the playpen. Then she looked at Jia's figure before carefully looking at her face.

After Jia was taken to Greenville Residence, her life improved and there were often doctors who came to see her legs. Now, her legs were much better, and although she still had to use a wheelchair when out, sometimes she can walk a few steps around the house by herself. Jia was no longer as thin as she was before.

The more Jennie looked at her, the more she felt like she was her mother.

Right when Jennie looked at Jia's face, she thought that if Chaerin was still alive, how much more harmonious and happy it would be for these two women to sit side by side on the couch and read the newspaper.

At this moment, V came back and bought a fish for Jennie to cook, saying that it would be good for her body.

Jennie's thoughts were interrupted just like that.

When Leo and Lily were over a hundred days old, Jennie did not hold a feast or tell anyone else. She just held a small banquet at her house and celebrated it with V and Jia. She hoped these two children could grow up healthy.

V can't always help her here because he's busy with his work. Therefore, his job will be taken over by Jia. Her legs were uncomfortable, and her ability to help was gradually limited, like seeing two small things fall out of bed. Every time Jia rushed to the side of the bed, these little things would laugh with their faces facing the sky.

Jennie finally decided to hire a nanny to help her live a much easier life.

After they were both half a year old, Jennie heard from the doctor that after six months, the water in the mother's milk had gradually increased, and the nutrition was no longer as abundant as it was at the beginning, so she didn't have to keep feeding the baby and could gradually feed the baby with other foods every day.

When Leo and Lily were seven months old, Jennie was dragged back to the Fengyu Media by Rosé. Since she sometimes had to go home to feed her children, Jennie did not go out often during the day and did not have much time to travel, so she could not return to her position as head of the Commerce Department. However, her appearance at the company was pretty good, and the new editor-in-chief gave her a rather relaxed position.

Jennie's life gradually turned busy, but even when she returned to work, she rarely came in contact with the business side. Rosé knew she didn't want to hear about Lisa, so she was careful not to tell her.

When Leo and Lily were almost eight months old, to everyone's surprise, they actually learned to talk. The first sentence these twins said was not 'mommy' but 'Jen.'

At that time, Jennie was drinking water, but when Leo and Lily said this word clearly, she immediately spitted out the water.

Jennie saw the little things giggling on the bed and quickly ran to pick both of them up. She turned towards Jia, who was laughing on the side. "Look, Auntie Jia, you always call me that. They've learned it from you."

"Brats, it's not Jen but mommy."

"Teach them slowly." Jia smiled.

Jennie felt helpless. From that day on, she taught the two little things to call her 'mommy'. It was only a few days later that they would finally laugh and say "Mommy" which made Jennie's heart feel so sweet.

On Leo and Lily's first birthday and when Jennie had finished celebrating it with her family members, she heard from Rosé that there was an important interview that required someone to go.

Rosé could not go because she was too busy. The others fought for it, but Rosé was in the company for a while and as there would be a lot of compensation, so she nominated Jennie to do the interview.

Rosé disliked her colleagues in the company, so she snatched the opportunity for Jennie.

Jennie saw that her children had already grown up and it wouldn't be much of a problem for her to travel for two or three days, so she immediately agreed.

She hadn't been in contact with the business society for half a year and now that she's suddenly accepted a job related to business reporting, her heart was in turmoil. She was chosen probably because the new editor-in-chief saw her performance and records.

If Jennie wanted to move her back to her original position, she had to work hard. Since she was given this opportunity, she had to appreciate it.

Whether Jia wanted to live in another city or not, Jennie had no plans to leave right away. She needed a stable job, otherwise she can only rely on V and the money from the card left by Lisa.

Her business trip was to Imperial City. Jennie needed to interview about the big project that Imperial City was working on with H City and it was related to construction.

Rosé didn't tell Jennie who she needed to look for. She just told her the name of the company and contacted the person in charge there. Jennie packed her luggage and headed straight for Imperial City.
