The sun was setting over Hastinapur, casting long shadows in Avika's chamber as she sat in silence, her heart heavy with the weight of Kunti's revelation. Karna, the man she loved deeply, was not truly the son of the Ayodhya king and queen. The complexity of his birth gnawed at her mind, igniting a tempest of emotions. She felt an overwhelming sense of confusion, fear, and sadness. How could she face him with this knowledge?
Just then, a soft knock on the door broke her from her reverie. Avika turned to see Govind entering, his presence immediately soothing her troubled heart. His eyes sparkled with the wisdom of ages, and he carried an aura of calm that made her feel a little less lost.
"Govind," Avika breathed, relief flooding her senses. "I didn't expect to see you."
"I sensed your distress, Avika," he replied, his voice gentle but firm. "I came to offer you counsel."
As she motioned for him to sit, Avika's thoughts tumbled out in a rush. "I learned something today that has shaken me to my core. Kunti revealed to me that Karna is not the true son of the Ayodhya royal family. He's not what I thought he was, and I don't know how to handle this."
Govind listened attentively, his expression thoughtful. "The truth has a way of revealing itself, but it often carries with it great turmoil."
Avika nodded, tears brimming in her eyes. "I fear for him, Govind. When he learns of this, he may break down. He has faced so much already, and now this?"
Govind leaned closer, his gaze penetrating. "You must be strong for him, Avika. When Karna discovers the truth about his birth, he will be overwhelmed. He may feel anger, betrayal, and confusion. Your love will be his only refuge in that storm."
"What can I do?" she asked, her voice quavering. "How can I support him when he is faced with such profound pain?"
"Be honest with him, Avika," Govind urged. "Share your fears and your love. When the moment comes, do not shy away from the truth. Your presence will be a balm to his soul."
She took a deep breath, feeling the weight of his words settle within her. "But what if he turns away from me? What if he blames me for keeping this from him?"
Govind shook his head. "Do not assume the worst. Love has a way of enduring even the toughest trials. Trust in the bond you share. It is a powerful force that can withstand anything."
As they spoke, the atmosphere shifted. The shadows in the room seemed to grow longer, mirroring the weight of their conversation. Avika felt a mix of hope and dread, knowing that the truth would soon come to light.
"Thank you for your wisdom, Govind," she said softly. "I will hold onto it."
Govind rose, his demeanor calm yet encouraging. "You are stronger than you know, Avika. Trust in your love, and when the time comes, you will find the strength to face the truth together."
After Govind departed, Avika felt a renewed sense of purpose. She would be there for Karna, a steadfast presence in the storm that awaited. As she looked out at the night sky, her heart echoed with the hope that love could conquer even the most daunting challenges.
