Karna felt a renewed sense of peace after reconciling with Aditya. The heavy burden of his secret lineage had finally been lifted, and his brother's acceptance and understanding had granted him a profound sense of freedom. He had longed for a day when his two families, the Ayodhyans and the Kurus, could exist peacefully in his life. Now that this was a reality, Karna's heart brimmed with gratitude and love, especially for Avika, who had stood by him through every twist and turn. He knew he owed her a gesture that would express his deepest affection.

Determined to create a perfect moment for them, Karna planned an outing into the nearby forest. With Avika in mind, he prepared for an afternoon where they could both enjoy the beauty of nature, away from the palace and its prying eyes.

That morning, as the first light of dawn painted the skies with golden hues, Karna found Avika in the palace garden. Her dark hair cascaded over her shoulders, and she was dressed in a simple yet elegant sari. She seemed lost in thought, gazing at the delicate flowers blooming around her. Stepping closer, he called her name softly.

Avika turned to him, a bright smile lighting up her face. "Karna!" she exclaimed, her eyes gleaming with surprise.

"Avika," he said, his voice warm and filled with tenderness, "would you join me for a ride today? Just the two of us."

She tilted her head in amusement, a playful smile gracing her lips. "A ride, hmm? Where are we going?"

"That's a secret," he replied, offering his hand to her. "But I promise you'll love it."

Avika's curiosity was piqued. Taking his hand, she followed him to the palace stables, where a powerful black stallion awaited them. Karna helped her onto the horse before climbing on behind her. His arms wrapped protectively around her as he held the reins, and she couldn't help but feel a flutter in her heart at the closeness between them.

The ride through the forest was breathtaking. The air was cool, and the leaves whispered secrets as they brushed past the couple. Sunlight filtered through the canopy, casting a soft glow over everything, creating an almost magical atmosphere. Karna kept his arms around Avika, his chest pressed against her back, and she could feel his steady heartbeat. She rested her hands gently on his arms, leaning back into his embrace, a sense of contentment filling her.

As they ventured deeper into the forest, Karna slowed the horse to a gentle trot. They soon arrived at a secluded clearing surrounded by tall trees and flowering shrubs. Karna dismounted first, then extended his hand to help Avika down. She smiled as her feet touched the ground, her eyes taking in the beauty of the hidden sanctuary he had brought her to.

"It's beautiful," she whispered, looking around in awe.

Karna stepped closer, his gaze focused solely on her. "Not as beautiful as you," he said, his voice hushed but filled with sincerity.

Avika felt a blush rise to her cheeks, and she looked away, slightly embarrassed by the intensity in his eyes. But Karna gently lifted her chin, guiding her gaze back to his. Without another word, he leaned in, capturing her lips in a tender kiss. The world around them seemed to fade, leaving only the two of them standing in the heart of the forest, wrapped in each other's warmth.

The kiss deepened, growing more passionate as Karna pulled her closer. His hands rested on her waist, holding her as though she were the most precious thing in the world. Avika's fingers found their way to his hair, tangling in the dark strands as she responded to his affection with equal fervor. Their breaths mingled, their hearts beating in perfect harmony.

Karna's lips traveled from her mouth to her neck, planting gentle, lingering kisses along her soft skin. Avika shivered at his touch, a wave of warmth spreading through her as he continued his trail of kisses. He paused, his eyes meeting hers, silently seeking permission to continue. Avika nodded, a shy smile on her lips, and Karna's heart swelled with love as he resumed, kissing the curve of her neck, making her heart race with every tender caress.

Avika closed her eyes, losing herself in the sensation of his touch, his kisses, the strength of his arms wrapped around her. She could feel the depth of his love in each kiss, the quiet promise of a lifetime spent together. They stayed there, entwined in each other's arms under a huge tree with avika resting her head on Karna's chest, savoring every moment of their closeness, the world outside the forest forgotten.

After a while, Karna drew back slightly, his fingers brushing a stray lock of hair from her face. "Avika," he murmured, "you've given me a strength I never knew I had. Thank you... for being by my side through everything."

Avika smiled, her gaze soft as she replied, "You don't need to thank me, Karna. I'm here because I want to be. Wherever you go, whatever challenges you face, I'll be there with you."

He took her hand, pressing it to his chest. "Then let's make a promise," he said, his voice filled with quiet determination. "Let's promise that no matter what happens, we'll always find our way back to each other."

Avika nodded, her eyes glistening with emotion. "I promise," she whispered, her voice steady and full of conviction.

They stood there, surrounded by the beauty of nature, bound by their love and the unspoken vows they had made to each other. The forest seemed to bless their union, the leaves rustling softly as if in approval.

After a while, Karna suggested they head back before the palace grew worried about their absence. With a final kiss, he helped Avika back onto the horse, and they rode back together, their hearts full, their spirits lifted. The journey back was quiet, each lost in their own thoughts, but the warmth of their love wrapped around them like a comforting embrace.

When they finally arrived at the palace, they shared a secret smile, their hearts intertwined in a way that only they could understand. The challenges they had faced were now a distant memory, and they knew that together, they could face whatever the future held.

As they both had reached the Hastinapur palace, a messenger immediately arrived to inform Avika about an urgent message delivered to her from Mithila. Karna left her to read the letter in solitude and she took that message and reached her chamber.

They both have made a promise but how long will it remain fulfilled ?

What do you think the letter is about ?
