Looks like some of you were confused about the conversation between Deva and Vishnu, so here's some clarity. Vishnu told Deva that the greatest form of manipulation is when the opponent doesn't even know that he is being manipulated aka he is telling him that "You are a great manipulator but I am better cause I figured it out." Deva replied by saying that "the greatest manipulation is when the opponent wouldn't take back on his words even if he knows he is being manipulated" which informally translates to "Yeah you know, so what? You still can't take back on your words and that makes me better"

Hope this clarifies. Now moving onto the chapter. This is going to be really fun lol.

Also this chapter has 2200+ words and ends with a quetion, so make sure you read till the end ❤️

*** Randheera ***

I knocked on the door, hoping it would be my wife, but to my surprise, it was my mother in law who opened the door.

"General sir...I..." she hesitated, "I am so sorry..."

"Sorry for what ma'am?" I asked genuienly confused.

"For being in your house at this time," she stuttered, her eyes full of fear.

"That never was and never will be a problem ma'am," I assured and began to look around, "Where is Yashu?"

"She is showering," her mother replied.

"I see," I nodded, "Please let her know that I made a visit and..." I was about to pass on the box when I heard Yashu yell out of nowhere.

"Jelebi!!" she yelled outloud and her mother looked at her utterly confused.

"Jelebi?" she whispered to herself.

"That amma is....."

"She asked me to get her jelebis," I interrupted their conversation and looked at Yashu. "Of course I got them sweetheart," I said and pointed at my badges with my eyes indicating that I am still on duty.

Yashu fell silent the moment she heard the word sweetheart and I walked towards her and gave her the box.

"You really got me jelebis?" she asked confused.

"Your anna brought it for you," I replied.

"He is the best," she smiled to herself and reached out for the box but I pulled my hand back.

"Think again," I suggested.

"One of the best," she reluctantly corrected herself and I passed on the box.

"Eat in moderation," I added and she nodded. "And wear green saree tonight," I continued.

"What?" she looked at me surprised, "Why?"

"For disrespecting the general," I said as if it is obvious.

"But I don't want to," she hesitantly oppossed, "I am tired of wearing green, not to mention I just washed it. It's not dry yet."

"Why do you have just one green saree?" I asked genuienly surprised.

"I mean I have another green saree with a different shade and...."

"No, I want the exact shade and the exact pattern," I interrupted.

"Why would I have two copies of the exact same saree?" she said trying to hide her frustration.

"I have 5 sets of my uniform," I replied as if it was obvious.

"There are not the same thing," she almost lost her patience although she still kept her voice low to make sure her mother doesn't hear us, "This is unfair!"
