"Re-really?" Yashu asked as I took a step back.

"Really," I affirmed without a second thought.

"Not a prank right?" she asked again.

"No," I shook my head and she noticed the tears in my eyes.

"Wait..." she said worried, "Why are you crying? Am I forcing you to love me? If you don't love me, it's fine....you don't even have to acknowledge my love...we can be just friends and I will...."

"Shhh," I took a step forward and placed my finger on her lips.

Even the thought hurt my soul.

She looked at me innocently as I slowly brought my finger down, realizing that I've unintentionally got too close.

"Happy tears," I informed her.

"This fels like a dream," she whispered to herself, "Pinch me and prove it's not," she said extending her hand.

"I won't hurt you to prove a point," I said and gently adjusted her hair, "Get your validation from the gentle touch."

"I can feel it," she whispered again, "Meaning really not a dream?"

"It's real, my ferocious tiger," I affirmed with a smile, "It's real."

She smiled back.

"I am so hungry," I said looking down at the food.

"I'll heat it up," Yashu said.

"I'll go shower and be back," I said and we both parted ways.

"Why so little food?"the general asked surprised when he noticied that I only served a tiny bit of rice for myself.

"I am not hungry," I replied hesitantly.

"Why not?" he asked confused, "You did not even have dinner and..."

"I had jelebis instead to keep me full," I interrupted.

"Yashu a couple of jelebis aren't going to....."

"20 of them," I hesitantly added and I could noticed his expression change from curious to surprised to angry.

"20 sweetheart? Really?" he asked.

"You said you love me!" I whined, "Stop scaring me."

"If scaring you stops you from unhealthy habits I certainly would," he replied, "and that would be precisely because I love you."

"Then eating late is also not good," I countered, "Should I scare you for that?"

"Give it a try," he said challenging me, "There is nothing that would scare the general of the Five Kingdoms."

"I will stop wearing green," I said remembering Vishnu anna's advice and his face immediately turned pale and his confidence dropped.

"That's the most evil thing you could do to me," he whispered dramatically and remained silent for a few more seconds to emphasize his point.

"I'll be home for dinner on time and you stop replacing meals with sweets, deal?" he asked.

"Deal," I nodded.

"Good," he replied and we both went back to eating.

I am still not convinced this is not a dream.
