*** Yashoda ***
I was walking back and forth, practising in my mind on how to angrily glare at the general when I heard some footsteps. I turned back to find him walking towards me as he adjusted the sleeves of his black Kurtha.
Wowww!
Such a good looking man he is....his self obsession is completely justified....
He suddenly turned towards me and I immediately looked away and I felt him chuckle.
Did he find out that I wasn't able to take my eyes off of him?
That would be embarrassing.....
My thoughts were interrupted when he sat down on the sofa.
"Sit," he suggested and I sat on the chair opposite to him.
"Go ahead," he said leaning back and putting his hand under his chin "Angrily glare at me."
"I...well..." I stuttered as his intimidating eyes made contact with mine and tried to angrily glare but was forced to look away. "Stop intimidating me," I said looking down.
"What?" The general said sounding extremely confused, "I am just...looking at you Yashu...."
"Make your eyes look gentler," I suggested.
"Random fancy words joined together that make no sense," he stated, "Surely a trait you've mastered from your Vishnu anna."
"Not a word against my..."
"I will," he harshly interrupted, "He is stupid, useless, manipulative and overall a dumb man."
I remained silent.
"What will you do about it, huh?" he asked, "Complain to the King? Am sure he won't punish me for stating the facts."
"I..." I hesitated but continued anyway, "I will...cry...."
"No don't" he immediately softened his tone as fear was evident in his eyes, his relaxed demeanor breaking down as he leaned forward and raised his hands "I don't even have jelebis with me."
That one statement immediately made me smile.
"You find my concern funny?" he asked changing his tone again.
Bloody cuttlefish!
(Note: Yashu calls Dheera cuttlefish because he keeps changing colors lol, not because cuttlefish is cute)
"What do you want me to do general sir?" I asked a little frustrated, "Cry or smile."
"Smile," he immediately replied as if he realized how stupid his words sound, "Your tears pain my heart."
I blinked my eyes twice....did he just...
"Okay," he said as he leaned back completely unaware of the impact of his words, "Let's try once again.....I will try not to intimidate you....glare at me angrily...."
I simply looked at him, still confused.
"Come on Yashu, you can do it," he encouraged.
"I..." I hesitated, "Now I feel like eating jelebis."
"Now?" he asked surprised, "Late at night?"
"Yes," I nodded, "Jelebis for dinner."
"You haven't had dinner yet?" he asked even more surprised.
