*3rd Person POV*

A while after Pearl's birthday, Seth contacted the hybrid to ask if the three of them could hang out. Referring to their other sister as well, within the text. After Bree's gentle pushing, Pearl reluctantly agreed to Seth's request.

It was decided amongst the Clearwater's that they would head to a nearby amusement park and spend the day there together. And use the day as a chance to rebuild their friendship. Originally it was only supposed to be the three of them, but when little Renesmee found out about the planned outing, she begged the older hybrid to allow her to come too. With Renesmee now being the physical age of a 5 year old, an amusement park was certainly a place that she would be able to enjoy.

After discussing it with Bella and Edward, it was decided that Renesmee could go with the Clearwater siblings, as long as the kid listened to Pearl, and stayed next to her. When Renesmee was informed about her parents decision, her resulting smile lit up the room and blinded the many vampires who were occupying the living area at the time.

Of course when Jacob heard about the trip that was now involving his imprint, he insisted that he be able to join to 'keep her safe'.

Deciding that an argument wasn't worth the effort, Pearl gave him the all clear to tag along. So the planned outing went from 3 people, to 5 people.

On the day of the trip, the weather was absolutely perfect for vampires, so Pearl used the opportunity to quickly invite the rest of her family, in hopes that they would join as well, so that she wouldn't have to engage in awkward conversations with Leah, Seth and Jacob. She also wanted the others to join so that she wouldn't be stuck babysitting a bunch of unruly shifters, and a hyperactive young hybrid.

Unfortunately for Pearl, the coven of vampires turned Pearl's invite down, having collectively decided that it would be good for the hybrid to bond with her biological siblings and get a chance to rebuild their relationship.

Emmet however, was much more inclined to accept the invite, but before he could, Rosalie suggested that the two of them go and have some alone time together, whilst giving him a suggestive look. As soon as Rosalie said that, Emmet's attention was completely re-directed. Amusement park fully forgotten.

Leah's car was sitting in the Cullen's driveway, waiting for Pearl, Renesmee and Jacob to get in, at around 9:00am. Jacob had gone to collect Renesmee from Edward and Bella, while Pearl made her one final attempt to convince Bree to accompany her.

"Come on, please." Pearl practically begged her imprint.

"Stop that!" Bree scolded the whining hybrid. "You'll have fun if you give this a chance." She tried to reassure her.

Pearl deadpanned at her, and bluntly replied, "You and I both know that this will be a nightmare, and I can't believe that I actually agreed to it. Plus, the chances of us fighting within the first 5 minutes of being alone together is almost at 100%."

A small smirk slipped onto the young vampires face as she whispered her response. "Which is why I'm not going."

Pearl gasped playfully, faking a hurt look. "Traitor." She muttered.

Bree started giggling, and before the hybrid got another chance to retort, Jacob rounded the corner while carrying a very excited Renesmee.

"Ready to go?" He asked Pearl with a teasing smile on his face.

"Fine." Pearl sighed dramatically and headed to Leah's car, with Jacob and Renesmee in tow.

"Have fun!" Bree called out playfully.

*Pearl's POV*

'Have fun. Yeah, totally. That's definitely gonna happen. Hopefully this day won't end up being a total disaster.'

As I approached the car, I felt my annoyance peak when I realised where we were all supposed to sit. Since Leah was the only one amongst us with a driving license for a car, she was the designated driver. Seth was situated in the back with two empty seats next to him. Obviously, those were meant for Renesmee and Jacob as there was a car seat meant for a small child in one of them. Which only left the passenger seat next to Leah, for me.

'You've got to be kidding me. Stuck next to Leah for the next hour. Yeah, this is gonna be great.' A sarcastic comment entered my brain immediately, upon the realisation.

Once we all got seated and buckled up, our official day out began.

As expected, the car ride was, let's say eventful. Yeah, eventful works.

Not 10 minutes in, Leah and Seth started arguing over the music choice. And when me and Jacob tried to give our input, it devolved into a shouting match.

Surprisingly, Renesmee was the one to stop the conflict by suggesting that we listen to a Disney song since, and I quote, "Everyone loves Disney. And if you say you don't, you're a fucking liar."

Yeah... definitely gonna thank Emmet for that one. I wonder what Bella will say when she finds out about her child's corrupted innocence?

At least the kid's interruption made us start laughing instead of arguing. So that's a plus.

For the next 40 minutes we all listened to the song 'Let it go' from the film Frozen, on repeat. Bree had introduced Renesmee to her love of Disney films a few weeks prior, and now the little hybrid was definitely a Disney fanatic. With her favourite film being, you guessed it, Frozen.

Still, listening to 'Let it go' on repeat, was certainly better than all of our likely arguments that would have occurred if we had been left to decide the music choice.

As we got closer to our destination, Renesmee's excitement grew exponentially, and Jacob had a hard time trying to keep her still. What made it more entertaining, was when Renesmee's excitement started rubbing off on Seth. When Seth started growing hyper, and became unable to sit still either, Jacob, who was sandwiched between the two, looked like he was on death's door by the time we arrived at the park.

It was very entertaining. Plus, me and Leah were able to make our first real agreement in a very long time. We both decided that we were not going to help Jacob. Watching him suffer at the hands of our younger brother and my kid 'niece', was far more appealing than wasting our time trying to help.

Thankfully, because the weather was so gloomy, there weren't many humans around when we arrived, so the lines to get into the amusement park were incredibly short, so we didn't have to wait long. As soon as we stepped foot in the park, Renesmee's eyes gravitated towards the many rides that she could see. Her smile was quite contagious as I found myself smiling too. I even saw Leah crack a smile, so it was obvious that bringing the kid along was the right call.

Renesmee dragged us to ride the tea cups first, as all of the bright colours had caught her eye. Then we went on a water ride. Which we thankfully, were able to get ourselves dried off rather quickly afterwards.

Since Renesmee was a '5 year old' she couldn't go on all of the many rides available. So we had to split up at times to make sure everyone could do something that they wanted to do. Seth pulled Jacob away to ride a huge rollercoaster with him, which left me and Leah with Renesmee.

Jake sent me a pleading look, which I pretended not to notice, as he was dragged away by my teenage brother. Turning to Renesmee, I asked, "So, what would you like to do next, Ren?"

She looked at me and Leah with big wide eyes, and pointed towards the prize stools. More specifically, towards a giant wolf plushie that was hanging up as a prize.

Leah looked at me with a smirk and challenged playfully, "Bet I can win it before you."

"You're on." I responded while smiling, and picked up the small hybrid in my arms.
