*3dr Person POV*

Everyone was mingling at the after party. Taking it in turns to congratulate the happy couple. Bella was introduced to the Denali's. After that, the speeches took place. Emmet's speech was rather cringe worthy. Charlie seemed to spend the whole of his speech threatening Edward. Jessica, one of Bella's school friends, also gave a speech and it was rather self-absorbed and showed just how envious of Bella she was. Everyone else's speeches were fairly normal though. Edwards speech certainly showed how much of a love struck puppy who he was, who was thanking their lucky stars.

'Esme's was the sweetest.' Pearl thought. 'Edwards was good as well. It's pretty obvious that he is head over heels for Bella. Their future is gonna be a good one.' She smiled slightly at said couple from the corner of her eye.

Pearl and Bree, as previously promised, decided to stay in the back, further away from the humans. Pearl had lowered her gift so that she could take a break. Pearl also allowed her scent to be tracked so that Bree could have something she could focus on, aside from all the human scents.

"Your scent is really strong." Bree commented gratefully.

"Really?" Pearl asked, unsure, having never picked up her own scent before.

"Mmhm" Bree hummed in affirmation. "Thanks, its really helping."

"You're welcome. I get to focus on your scent to keep me grounded. It wouldn't exactly be fair if I didn't let you focus on mine." Pearl stated.

"Your right. It wouldn't." Bree smirked at the hybrid.

Pearl rolled her eyes but still smiled at her imprint. Looking over the crowd of people, she noted that Jasper and Alice were on the dance floor having fun.

"Jasper seems happy." Pearl commented.

Bree looked over just in time to see Jasper flip Alice mid dance. Giggling, she agreed. "Yeah, looks like he was worried for nothing." She paused and then smiled at the hybrid. "As were you."

Pearl huffed and then replied, "Hmm, I guess."

The pair turned their attention to Carlisle and Esme, who were leading a group of vampires over to them.

"Hey girls. How are you doing?" Esme asked smiling, although with a hint of concern in her voice.

"We're okay." Bree chose to answer for both of them. Pearl nodded in agreement.

"That's good. You're both doing very well." Carlisle praised. "We'd like to introduce you both, to some of our family." He added.

Pearl took a step closer to Bree. A little nervous about the unknown vampires before her, but made no other move to voice or show her discomfort. Bree smiled shyly at the patriarch and nodded, unconsciously grabbing Pearl's hand for comfort. Pearl smiled at the contact and squeezed her hand slightly to reassure her.

Carlisle nodded and stepped to the side. Giving the two a clear view of the vampires before them. Four of them were smiling, but one of them only glared at Pearl. Pearl tensed slightly and locked her gaze onto the glaring blonde. Carlisle proceeded to introduce the five.

"This is Eleazar and Carmen. They are mates." He said gesturing to the the male and female vampire holding hands. "And these three are Tanya, Kate and Irina, they're sisters." Carlisle finished, gesturing to the three blondes.

"It's nice to meet you both. We have heard a lot about you from Carlisle here." Eleazar said.

"Yes. It's wonderful to finally meet you Bree and Pearl." Carmen said happily.

"It's nice to meet you to." Bree said softly, smiling shyly at the group.

Pearl nodded her head to acknowledge the two, but didn't let her gaze wander from the blonde, now known as Irina, who was glaring daggers at her.

"Irina" Tanya said sternly. Clearly warning the woman.

Irina paid no mind to her sister and continued staring. Before finally speaking up in a rude tone. "You're a wolf." She said bluntly.

Pearl growled quietly at her tone. "Half. Yes." Pearl stated coldly.

"I can't be here" Irina said firmly, finally breaking her death stare on Pearl and leaving the group.

Once she was out of sight, Pearl visible relaxed. Realising that she had been squeezing Bree's hand that entire time, she blushed slightly and quickly released it. Taking a step away from her imprint, embarrassed. Upon Pearl's hand leaving Bree's, Bree found herself missing the hybrids warmth. But she didn't want to make Pearl uncomfortable so she allowed her to step away from her, although it did sadden the new born.

"Sorry about her" Eleazar apologised.

"What's her problem?" Pearl asked rather coldly. Still slightly aggravated by the blonde vampire's behaviour.

"She's not usually like that. But, she does have a problem with wolf shifters at the moment." Tanya answered, hoping to appease the hybrid, noting her tension.

"Her supposed mate, was killed by a pack of wolf shifters here." Kate clarified.

Pearl raised her eyebrow, confused. "I belong to no pack." She states firmly.

Esme smiles sadly and says, "You were born to one dear. You may not see yourself as part of it, but I'm sure others will have different views."

'I can't argue with that.' Pearl thought, begrudgingly.

Changing the subject, Eleazar inquires, "Carlisle says you're part vampire? I must say. I've never come across anything like you in my lifetime before. You are truly unique. And with a strong gift to boot. You are rather special, my dear." He finishes.

Pearl turned red at the compliment and looked away. Too embarrassed to reply. Bree smirked at the hybrid's discomfort. Before looking slightly confused. "How did you know about her gift?" Bree asked cautiously. Pearl turned back to face him, wondering the same thing.

"That would be my gift, my dear." Eleazar answers.

Carmen chose to finish his train of thought, "My husband can tell what gift you have with just a glance. He's also able to see what the best way to improve your gift is."

"Woah, that's cool." Bree said, astonished. Pearl nodded, giving the couple a faint smile.

"Well thank you." Eleazar said, turning to Bree, he spoke again. "You have the gift of Telekinesis, yes? That's rather impressive. I see you haven't trained it much though."

Bree looked away, slightly ashamed. "No, I haven't. I've been spending most of my time getting used to the animal diet."

"There's nothing wrong with that Bree." Tanya said, trying to make her feel better. "What Eleazar means, is that your gift has a lot of potential, and that it would benefit you if you started to train it." She clarified.

"That's right" Kate continued. "My gift is called psychic electric shock. And before I trained it, I had the attendance to accidentally shock the people who I touched. That errr... got pretty irritating pretty quickly. Now that I've practiced, I can radiate the electricity throughout my whole body instead of just my hands. And the best part, there's no more accidental shocking." Kate smiled.

Bree smiled widely at Kate, inspired to try and learn how to use her gift properly. Turning to Carlisle, Bree asks quietly "Do you think I could try and practice my gift tomorrow, when we're clearing up?"

Carlisle smiles at her, "I don't see why not." He answers.

Pearl smirks, getting an idea. "If I find you a bunch of glue and glitter, would you use your gift to help me make Emmet look like a sparkly colourful disco ball?"

Bree starts laughing and Tanya and Kate start snickering. The two couples try to hide their grins, but aren't very successful.

"If you are able to pull that off, I want a picture of the result." Kate says, smirking at the two girls.

"I'll see what i can do." Pearl answers, still smirking.

"Oh, and you should make the colour pink!" Kate quickly adds. Tanya nods in agreement.

"Way ahead of you." Pearl answers, already picturing how she's gonna turn Emmet into glittery pink barbie and sneak multiple pictures, for black mail purposes in the future.
