*3rd Person POV*
Carlisle, Emmet and Jasper worked through the night, clearing out one of the storage rooms and moving all of the contents into the other one. Alice made sure they didn't mess anything up and spent the whole night bossing them around.
Meanwhile, Rosalie and Esme were helping Pearl and Bree pick out items for their new room. Pearl took a figurative step back when it came to choosing the stuff. She only required simple things to be happy.
Her old room was very small, only really having a desk and a bed. It was practical, so she didn't have an issue with it. But her new room in the Cullens house was almost three times the size of her old one. So it's safe to say, that Pearl was relatively clueless on how to utilise the large amount of space efficiently. Which left Bree to make most of the decisions regarding the furniture and decorations inside the room. Which the young vampire thoroughly enjoyed.
It wasn't until Esme suggested re-painting the whole room, did Pearl decide to speak up.
"I don't think that's necessary." She said.
"Oh come on Pearl. The whole room is just gonna be plain white otherwise. Why not have at least one of the walls coloured?" Rosalie suggested slightly aggressively whilst smiling.
"But don't you think it's too much?" Pearl argued, worried about all the trouble the group was going to for them.
Bree picked up on her mates concern, and said shyly, "You guys don't need to go through so much trouble for us. We'd be happy with anything."
"Girls. Your family. And we decorate all the rooms to fit the taste of every single person in this family. We aren't going through any trouble that we haven't gone through before with the others. Okay?" Esme reassured them.
Bree nodded happily, satisfied with the answer. Pearl remained a little reluctant, but ultimately agreed to the changes.
By the next morning, Bree and Pearl's new room had been entirely cleared out. It was a blank canvas. Literally.
All the items the girls had ordered the previous night, was set to arrive in a days time. Which left one day to choose a colour to paint the room in, and then apply it. Bree had been leaning towards painting one of the walls a lime green, because it was her favourite colour. Pearl was happy to oblige until she got an idea.
"Hey? What if we painted something on one of the walls? Instead of it just being a single colour." Pearl suggested casually.
"That sounds like a wonderful idea." Esme said in support.
"I don't mind doing that, but, I can't really draw." Bree mentions sadly.
"I can. I'll draw the picture and give you a good outline, then we could paint it. You mentioned that you loved to paint in the past. We don't have to do that. So it's only if you want to, Bree." Pearl says quietly.
"I'd love that!" Bree exclaims in excitement.
Having made the decision. Rosalie, Alice and Esme took the two girls to an art store in Seattle early that morning. Where Bree picked out the paints she would need, while Pearl picked out a 'fine art' kit. The two girls discussed what they wanted to design on their wall in hushed whispers, so that no one else knew what they were planning.
Well... no one except Alice. As she had already gotten a vision of the finished product, and was absolutely ecstatic. Rosalie and Esme were left in the dark. All they could do was guess what the picture was going to be, based on the paint colours Bree had picked out. And the little bits and pieces of the girls conversation that they were able to hear.
Later, when the women got back to the house, Bree and Pearl disappeared to their designated room with all of their new art supplies. The remaining members of the coven relaxed in the living room while they waited.
A few hours had gone by, when Bree and Pearl finally emerged from the freshly painted room. When the family stepped inside to check out the finished piece, they were amazed. Some were even slightly jealous.
The pair had drawn and painted a magnificent night sky with black silhouettes in the forefront. Bree having been in charge of the sky and it's multitude of colours, and Pearl had been in charge of drawing the animal and nature silhouettes. Their combined efforts delivered a beautiful stunning picture on their bedroom wall.
The next day, all of the furniture for Bree and Pearl's room arrived. All members of the present family, assisted in setting up the girls room to Alice's satisfaction.
When it was finally complete, the coven decided to take a well deserved rest in the living room. Collectively deciding to watch a movie, the newly formed family allowed their youngest to choose the film. Bree picked the first ever Disney movie she saw when she came to Seattle. It had quickly become her favourite movie after seeing it.
Bree picked the film Finding Nemo, and cuddled up against Pearl's warm body to watch the Disney classic.
*I drew what I imagined the picture for Pearl and Bree's room to be. You guys can obviously imagine something different if you'd like. This is my version of it.*
