*3rd Person POV*

Bree, Jasper, Alice and Seth stood outside the house, ready to face the pack of angry shifters. They had heard the wolves coming, and knew that a fight was inevitable.

Seeing the whole pack stop at the tree line and growl at them ferociously, it was clear that they were outnumbered.

Edward emerged from the house with a determined look on his face. He joined the others and glared at the approaching wolves.

"We're outnumbered." Jasper stated.

Seth growled at his old pack, nothing but pure rage evident in his youthful eyes.

"I won't let them hurt my family." Edward remarked.

Bree looked at her adoptive siblings from the corner of her eye, then refocused her attention onto the pack that took everything away from her. She crouched down and let out a threatening snarl.

With that, the Uley pack advanced, attacking the group. Seth shifted and met one of the wolves head on. The four vampires each launched themselves at a wolf, attempting to get the upper hand.

Jasper was able to throw a wolf into a tree, but he got distracted by Alice's scream. Alice had dodged one wolf, only to get tackled by another. With his mate in trouble, Jasper's battle focus was briefly broken and he got jumped on by another wolf.

Edward had taken on Sam's black wolf and was quickly getting overwhelmed. Bree intervened, throwing herself into Sam's side. Successfully pushing him off of Edward. The mind reader's freedom didn't last long, as another wolf was quick to take Sam's place on top of the vampire.

Bree sped around helping her coven members as much as she could. Sam's pack couldn't hurt her, so Bree being in the midst of the battle was greatly hindering the Uley pack. And giving the Cullens a much needed advantage.

Punching the wolf that was pinning Jasper down, allowed Jasper to free himself and go assist Alice, who was still struggling. After helping Jasper, Bree moved onto the grey wolf that was trying to gang up on Seth. Seth was already fighting with a brown wolf, so the grey wolf joining in was a major disadvantage for the youngest Clearwater.

Bree grabbed the grey wolf's tail and threw him into a large tree. Causing the wolf to yelp loudly. Paul stood up from the tree and tried to knock Bree down. The young vampire was able to move out of the way in time, but Paul's grey wolf continued its pursuit of her.

Alice and Edward got pinned down again, but before the wolves could deliver the finishing blow, Carlisle, Esme and Emmet entered the fray.

Carlisle and Esme quickly assisted Edward, whilst Emmet helped Alice. Jasper and Seth were now holding their own after Bree's interference.

The coven of vampires and Seth fought ferociously against the Uley pack. None more so, than Bree, who was out for the shifters blood.

Eventually the Uley pack was able to corner the group into a tight circle. The vicious growls and barks produced from the shifters was deafening. The ferocious snarling from Bree, only added to the overall noise.

Then, without warning, Jacob emerged from the house and stood between the Uley pack and the Olympic Coven.

"Stop! It's over!" Jacob shouted towards the shifters.

Sam tried to advance but Jacob moved in front of him again, blocking the alpha's path.

"If you kill her, you kill me!" Jacob declared.

Sam threw him aside with his head, so Jacob shifted mid air and advanced on Sam slowly whilst growling deeply.

Reading his mind, Edward announced, "Jacob imprinted."

Everyone seemed slightly surprised, but each of them realised at the same time what that meant. Edward continued, "They can't hurt her. Whoever a wolf imprints on can't be harmed. It's their most absolute law."

Sam's pack growled in anger. Realising that it was truly over, they started to back away from the group in order to return home.

In that moment, rage filled Bree's body. It wasn't over for her. She had still lost everything! She couldn't just let them leave without making them pay for what they had done! Letting out a deadly snarl, Bree launched herself at the Black wolf, intending to wrap her arms around Sam and snap his neck.

"BREE NO!" Edward shouted in a panic.

Surprised by the sudden attack, Sam acted on instinct and moved to rip the vampire apart. Ignoring the imprint situation entirely.

Suddenly, a guttural growl ripped through the forest, sounding out from the right of the two groups, and a blur of silver intercepted the attack at incredible speeds.
