*3rd Person POV*

Sam, left with no choice, complied immediately with the order. As soon as Pearl felt the mental link with the pack snap, she released her hold on Sam's neck and turned to leave. Walking past Sam's shocked pack, Pearl stopped in front of Leah. Growling at her, Pearl sent her sister one final thought.

'You and your family are dead to me.'

After that, Pearl took off into a sprint, heading out of the Quileute's territory.

When Pearl finally crossed the treaty line, the pain that had spread over her body, from her many injuries, made itself known. The large cut across her right hind leg made it difficult to put pressure on the limb. Now feeling all of the injuries (adrenaline having worn off), she was forced to continue her journey back to the Cullen's house whilst limping.

Blood trickled down her shoulder wound on her left side. The red sticky substance, now staining her beautiful silver fur.

Pearl's mind, was blank. All she could feel, was pain. Emotional, physical and mental pain. She felt utterly broken.

*Time Skip*

When Pearl finally saw the Cullen residence through the trees, it was quiet, empty. All of the guests had already left. Looking up to the sky, Pearl realised how late/early it was. The sun looked like it would come up in an hour or two. She was gone, for the whole night.

When Pearl broke through the trees in her wolf form, the previously empty porch, was now filled with the house's occupants. The vampires having heard her step onto the driveway.

Edward and Bella were missing from the group, so Pearl assumed that they had already left for their honeymoon.

As soon as the vampires saw the injured hybrid, they were filled with worry and concern. Emmet, Jasper and Rosalie were furious. The three viewed Pearl as their younger sister and as such, seeing her coming home injured, was certainly triggering for them. Emmet had half a mind to go over to the Quileute's territory and tear them a new one, whilst at the same time demanding to know what happened.

The coven didn't remain motionless for long. Carlisle quickly took charge and approached Pearl. Assessing her injuries before ordering someone to get his medical bag from his office. Alice rushed inside the house to retrieve it.

Pearl's legs shook beneath her, having used all of her energy throughout the day's and night's events, just simply standing still was proving very difficult. Carlisle, noticing this, quickly took action. Placing himself on the wolfs right side he used his hands to give her support.

"Pearl, lie down. I need to treat your injuries, and forcing yourself to stand is only exasperating them." He ordered firmly, voice filled with concern.

Pearl complied with the coven leaders demand, and lay on the ground. Carlisle having needed to help guide her into the position. Alice rushed out of the house, carrying Carlisle's medical bag and handed it to her father figure, who quickly got to work and started tending to the many open wounds, that adorned the silver wolf's body.

Whilst Carlisle treated the hybrid, the rest of the coven broke into a commotion, wondering what could have taken place down on the res. Jasper and Emmet asking if this action has broken the treaty.

Bree stood silently amongst the group, staring at Pearl's wolf form with wide eyes. Before her eyes filled with venom and she couldn't take the separation anymore. Bree practically flew towards Pearl. She wrapped her arms around the wolf's head and hugged her mate tightly. The hug wasn't tight enough to hurt Pearl, but it was certainly tight enough to be uncomfortable.

The position they were in, was rather odd. Pearl was forced to look at the ground, with the top of her head pressed into Bree's chest. Bree's arms were wrapped around Pearl's chin and the back of her neck. So Bree was holding the wolf's head firmly in place.

The driveway went silent after Bree's actions. No one moved from their place, other than Carlisle who was trying to clean out the large gash across Pearl's hind leg, her long fur making it quite difficult to do so.

It wasn't until Bree could be heard dry sobbing that Pearl finally moved. Pearl perked her ears and let out a whimper of concern, upon hearing her imprints cries.

Bree held onto the wolf tightly and through her sobs, she mumbled into her fur, "Don't you ever do that again."

Pearl whined at Bree, trying to apologise for making her worry. Carlisle interrupted the two and spoke to Pearl in a stern voice, leaving no room for arguments.

"I cannot treat your injuries properly with you in your wolf form. I need you to shift back." He said.

Pearl whimpered in protest, trying to tell him that shifting back right now would hurt, and she doesn't have any energy left to move.

Jasper spoke up, having gotten a slight understanding about what she was trying to convey, by reading her emotions. "She barely has any energy left Carlisle. And, she seems scared to shift back."

'Probably due to the pain it will cause.' Carlisle thought. "Alright, Rosalie could you go and get a large blanket, please? She'll need something to cover up with." He asked his eldest daughter.

Rosalie nodded and went inside to retrieve a blanket. Carlisle gestured to Esme, motioning towards Bree, who was still clinging onto the hybrids head, hugging it in a tight grip. Esme, understanding her husbands request, went over to Bree and gently pried her away from the wolf. Bringing the sobbing girl into an embrace. Esme rubbed circles onto Bree's back, as she tried to sooth her distraught youngest child.

Pearl lay her head on the ground once it was released, too tired to hold it up herself.

"Emmet. Once Pearl shifts back, you are going to carry her into the dining room." Carlisle continues giving instructions.

Emmet nods his head and goes to Pearl's side, ready to pick her up when he is told to.

"Jasper. Are you able to sooth Pearl's emotions and numb her to the pain? It should make shifting back easier for her if you can." Carlisle asked.

Jasper nods, "I can do that." Using his gift, he starts to influence the hybrids emotions, and numbs her to all of the pain she is feeling. 'Why is she in so much emotional distress?' Jasper wonders, seeing the mental anguish Pearl is experiencing.

Rosalie comes back outside, and with Alice's help, the two girls cover the hybrid's body with the blanket.

Carlisle turns to the wolf, placing his hand on her head, in order to get her attention, as she was struggling to keep her eyes open. "Pearl. I need you to shift." He told her in a firm voice.

Pearl whimpered slightly and closed her eyes. Complying with Carlisle's command, the silver wolf shifted back into a vampire. Rosalie and Alice quickly wrapped the blanket around her limp body, then Emmet picked her up and headed inside. Carlisle walked ahead of him, carrying his bag. And the rest of the family trailed behind the three.
