*3rd Person POV*

Pearl healed over the next couple of days, coming back to her normal level of health. The only lasting effects of the fights, were a scar on her right leg, and a scar on her left shoulder, which was slightly more faded than her leg. Other than that, all of her physical injuries were fully healed.

Being fully healed was great. Since Pearl was able to enjoy the freedom that came with it. Being able to go hunting again, was a relief for her. Having not been able to drink any blood during her healing period, the relief she felt when she drank from a deer was indescribable. The coven of vampires wouldn't let her go alone on her hunt, as they were still concerned for the hybrid. Since she had healed quickly and seemed physically fine, their concern was more focused on the potential repercussions that she could face from the pack. So they wanted to stay near her in case any of the other shifters ever showed up, whether it be as a human, or as a wolf. Even with a couple of members accompanying her, Pearl was still able to enjoy the hunt none the less.

It was only when she got back to the house from her first hunt and found Alice grinning, did that enjoyment quickly turn into dread.

"What's going on?" Pearl asked Alice warily. As the pixie was sporting an evil grin.

"You're upholding your promise! Now that you're all better!" Alice exclaimed excitedly.

Alice's words brought back the memory of Alice tricking her into agreeing to do something for every member of the coven, before the wedding took place.

'Oh god... how do I get out of this?' Pearl thought. 'Perhaps if I act like that never happened, she'll forget about it?' Pearl thought, rather wishfully.

"... What promise?" Pearl asked with fake confusion. A sweat drop formed on her forehead. Playing dumb may be the only way to get out of it, she realised.

Alice glared at her for a moment, then got a blank look on her face. She was having a vision. As soon as it ended her grin reappeared and she grabbed Pearl's hand. Alice pulled Pearl away from the others who had joined in on the hybrids hunt. And dragged her towards the garage, where her car was parked.

"The promise you made in order to get out of wearing a dress to the wedding." Alice exclaimed gleefully, giving Pearl a knowing smile, as to acknowledge her attempt to get out of it.

"Ah... that promise. Can't we just forget about that." Pearl asked, somewhat hopeful.

"Absolutely not!" Said Alice, as she pushed Pearl into her car's passenger seat, then rushed over to the drivers side door. Opening it and getting situated, Alice started the car and drove off like a bat out of hell. The speed stopped Pearl from even attempting to make a run for it. Her body was not nearly as indestructible as a vampire's was. She'd discovered that, the day of Edward and Bella's wedding.

The drive to Seattle felt like an eternity to Pearl. Even though Alice's speeding was certainly shortening, the usual 2 hour drive. It still felt like it was taking forever to the hybrid. Alice was smiling throughout the journey, having planned everything going forward due to her gift. She was very excited. Pearl however, was not.

Once the girls arrived in Seattle, Alice dragged Pearl into a boutique. Picking out some fancy dresses for Pearl and herself to try on. The girls both entered the changing rooms to get changed into the clothes. And check them out. Alice came out first, wearing a black, tight fitting dress that had a sequin pattern on it.

Admiring herself in the hall mirror, Alice called out to Pearl. "Come on! Let's see it!"

"I don't want to." The hybrid quietly protested.

"Miss Pearl Clearwater, you either come out of that changing room willingly. Or I'll come in there and drag you out." Alice threatened.

Reluctantly, Pearl emerged from the changing room, wearing a similar dress to Alice. Hers was red in colour instead of black. Pearl glared at Alice, clearly very unhappy with the situation.

"Spin around" Alice ordered in a high pitched voice, ignoring Pearl's glare that was directed at her.

Pearl begrudgingly spun herself around so that Alice could see her from all angles.

"Hmm. Red is not your colour." Alice decided. "Try this." She picked up the same style dress, this time in a light blue tone, and handed it to Pearl.

Pearl took it and re-entered the changing room. Alice went back to her own to try another dress on for herself.

For the next 2 hours, the girls tried on many fancy clothes in this boutique. Pearl barely spoke after her initial complaint, knowing that her protests would only annoy the pixie, she thought it best to just to suffer in silence. Alice was more than happy with that solution, since she just filled the silence with her own endless chatter about fashion, and how Pearl clearly lacks any competence when it comes down to choosing the right clothes to wear.

After the boutique, the girls dropped off the clothes Alice had bought to the car, and then they went to the mall. Alice entered and exited shops like there was no tomorrow. Which meant that Pearl was forced to try and keep up with her. It was decided early on, by the pixie, that Pearl, had more use as a bag carrier than helping her choose the correct things to buy. So whatever Alice bought, Pearl had to carry. 30 minutes in, and Pearl was already carrying 5 different bags that were filled to the brim with different beauty items. Ones that Alice claimed, would be used on everyone later.

By the end of their mall excursion, Alice was carrying 3 bags herself because Pearl only had 2 hands and could not physically carry any more. At least, not without it looking to suspicious to all the humans present. When the girls returned to the car, Pearl managed to fill the trunk, the two backseats and her front seat (where she was supposed to sit) with shopping bags. In order to still fit into the car, Pearl needed to be buried underneath 4 filled up shopping bags.

When they got back to the Cullen household, it had been around 4.5 hours since Pearl's hunt. Making it almost midday. Alice was more than pleased with how the morning had turned out. Once they pulled up into the driveway, Alice enlisted Jasper to assist her, with putting everything she had bought away in their pre-designated spots, that were already chosen by her visions earlier in the day.

Hearing what Jasper was being made to do, almost made Pearl feel sorry for him. But after seeing the sly grin he sent her way, she thought better of it.

'Why did he look at me like that?' Pearl wondered.

The unanswered question wasn't left alone for long. As a loud playful voice boomed out from around the back of the house.

"PEARL!" Emmet yelled. His voice filled with excitement and mischief.

'Oh no... what does he want?' Pearl dreaded to think.
