It was a rainy day on Hermitcraft and all the hermits were in their bases, staying out of the rain.
Well, all except one.
That one hermit being Xisuma.
He was stuck within his trophy ship after spending the morning sending the hermits their respected profit trophies. He had planned to spend the rest of his day just relaxing at his base, however, then the rain began.
At first it was just some light drizzle. Although as time passed, the rain began to get heavier and heavier to the point in which it was unsafe to be out in it.
It came as a shock to all the hermits when it got to that stage as usually Xisuma would get notified if there was going to be a period of time where the weather would be too dangerous to be out in. However, he received no warning for the heavy rain. Due to this, the first thing he did was message all the hermits to ensure they were okay. Thankfully he did it when he did as seconds later he lost all signal on his communicator. Sure he could have kept in contact with the hermits through the mail system. Although not all hermits would be able to access their mail boxes due to them not being connected to their base living areas. Not only that, but he was unsure if the mail system could be used in the current weather.
So now, Xisuma sat alone within his trophy shop, waiting for the rain to go away. Usually he wouldn't mind the rain. In fact he found rain to be relaxing as he would often find himself wrapped up in a blanket with a cup of tea and a book. However, this was different. He had no access to any of those things. Instead, he had to deal with the harsh cold air that travelled through the shop.
It was relatively silent within the shop. The only sounds Xisuma could hear was the sound of the rain hitting the roof, the sound of his own breathing and the annoying ticking of a clock he had recently installed within the shop.
He was bored.
Getting stuck anywhere other than his base was not on his list for that day. He was hoping to just be able to relax in his base. But, of course, the weather had different plans. The only thing he could do was wait it out.
And so he did.
As soon as the rain had stopped, Xisuma raced over to his base and went inside. He knew instantly what he was going to spend his time doing for the remainder of that day as well as what he was going to do the following day.
He took his helmet off and carried it as he made his way to his kitchen. Once there, he set his helmet on the counter top and made himself a cup of tea and grabbed some biscuits. He then grabbed himself a blanket and a book before eventually going to his fireplace and lighting a fire. Eventually, he sat down, wrapped in a blanket and began to read his book, occasionally stopping once in a while to either drink some of his tea or to eat one of his biscuits, glad to finally be able to relax in the comfort of his base.
