"Is there anything else anyone would like to add before we end this meeting?" Xisuma asked, looking around at each hermit, checking if any of them did. Then the voidwalker's gaze landed on Cub.

"I was doing so reading yesterday and I came across a legend and I wanted to see if anyone knew anything about it" Cub said, resulting in all the hermits turning to look at him.

"What's the legend?" Ren asked.

"Well, it was talking about how a child was born and was dubbed the embodiment of the moon, specifically the cresent moon" Cub explained.

All the hermit began to discuss the legend. Well, all except one.

Pearl.

Now, Pearl was relatively open as a person. Not really hiding any detail about who she was. The only expections to this being her experience on Evo, something that only her and Grian knew out of the hermits. However, something that Pearl kept hidden, even from Grian, was what everyone believed to just be a legend. The very legend Cub had brought up.

The child in the legend was none other than Pearl. It was the reason her full name was Pearlescent Moon.

Pearl didn't really know how to feel about the thought of the hermits finding out about this fact. So, she kept it a secret and zoned out to the sound of the hermits talking.

She only snapped out of her thoughts when she felt a tap on her shoulder and heard Xisuma speak.

"You okay, Pearl?" Xisuma asked.

"Yeah just thinking about some things" Pearl replied.

"Would you like to talk about it? You don't have to if you don't want to and if you do there's no rush to do so."

"Maybe at some point, but not right now."

"That's okay, you are welcome to come talk to me about it whenever you are ready. Also, the meeting is over now and all the hermits have left so feel free to head off back to your base."

"Okay, bye X."

With that, Pearl waved good bye to the admin and flew off.

A couple days had passed and Xisuma had been reading a lot, looking into the legend. When Cub first mentioned it at the meeting, it sounded familiar to the voidwalker. And, as he looked into it, he realised why.

He was told it when he first started his admin training.

Xisuma wanted to see if he could find anymore information about the legend. However, he wasn't having much luck with it.

As he went to find another book, he received a message on his communicator.

It was from Pearl.

Pearl: Hey X, I think I'm ready to talk about what caused me to zone out towards the end of the last meeting. Is it ok if I come over to your base?

Immediately, the voidwalker typed out a response.

Xisuma: Of course you can.

Minutes later, Pearl arrived and was immediately welcomed in by Xisuma, who then got the two of them seated in his living room.

"So, feel free to start whenever you're ready" Xisuma said after he and Pearl sat in complete silence for a couple minutes.

"Right so, first of all, can you not tell the rest of the hermits what I'm about to tell you? I don't really want all of them knowing this information, not yet at least" Pearl started.

"That's alright, if you don't want the rest of the hermits to know then I won't tell them. Besides, it isn't my thing to say, it's yours."

"Right, so you know how Cub brought up the legend, the one about the legend behind the crescent moon."

"The one about the embodiment of it?"

"Yeah, well the child in the legend is me."

"Really?"

"Yeah, it's the whole reason why my full name is Pearlescent Moon."

"So that's why you zoned out? Because you didn't want to hear the hermits talking about you without realising it?"

"Kind of. It sort of just sparked the fear that they might figure it out before I was ready for them to know. Heck even Grian doesn't know and I've none him the longest to the point that he's like a brother to me."

"Well, I'm happy you feel safe enough to entrust me with this information. And I assure you, I won't tell anyone of the hermits. That's for you to do in your own time" Xisuma smiled from beneath his helmet.

"Thank you X" Pearl smiled back, despite not being able to see the admin's smile.

"Of course, anytime" Xisuma said, pulling Pearl into a hug, in which the moon gratefully accepted.
