Grian had a strange feeling. One that he had felt for a couple days now. One that signified the watcher were up to something, something that involved invading Hermitcraft. Or at least that was what Grian believed. However, at the same time part of him blamed the feeling on lack of sleep.
It had all started due to Grian's unhealthy fishing habit of fishing day and night with now sleep. Fishing until he fished up a mending book. He knew he could have just gotten one from a villager but he wanted to fish one up. Although, he didn't quite know why.
That leading to the current time, Grian was sleepily flying around the night skies, ensuring that each hermit was safe. He knew the feeling occuring was most likely not watcher related and just his sleep deprived mind playing tricks on him, but he didn't want to take the risk.
As Grian continued to fly, he found it harder and harder to avoid obstacles. This continued until he eventually collided with one.
The obstacle in question not being an obstacle. Rather being someone and that someone was the server's admin, Xisuma.
As Grian collided with the voidwalker, the pair were sent tumbling out of the sky. Fortunately enough for the two of them, X was able to recover and grabbed the half asleep avian. Eventually guiding the pair of them safely to the ground.
"Grian, are you okay?" The admin asked, knowing full well that Grian was very sleep deprived. It was clear to see by the bags that sat beneath the blonde's eyes.
"Mhm, I's is good" Grian said, slurring his words unintentionally.
"Right mister, that is clearly a lie and you and I both know it, so here's what's going to happen. You're going to come with me and you are going to go to sleep."
"Nu uh can't watchers coming feel it."
"Grian, if watchers were coming to invade Hermitcraft, I would be the first to know. They aren't coming here you have nothing to worry about. Now, come with me we're getting you to bed" Xisuma explained, before dragging Grian to his base.
Once the two of them had reached the voidwalker's home, X dragged Grian through the maze of rooms until they reached the spare room Xisuma had reserved for any hermit who needed to use it.
"Now, get in the bed and go to sleep. I'll be here with you until you fall asleep so that I know you are actually getting the sleep you need" the admin commanded the tired hermit.
Not having the energy to argue or resist anymore. Grian gave in and got into the bed, instantly falling asleep as soon as his head hit the pillow.
With a sigh of relief, X quickly pulled up his admin panels and decided to do a quick check of the server's fire wall, checking to ensure he hadn't missed anything. He had known Grian long another to know if he had a feeling that the watchers were up to something. So, as a safety procaution he checked all the server's code. Thankfully, everything was in order.
With one last glance at the sleeping parrot hybrid, Xisuma left the sleeping Grian and went to get himself some sleep of his own.
