A peculiar rumor began to circulate among the hermits. It all started when Scar, known for his whimsical builds and infectious enthusiasm, stumbled upon a mysterious artifact deep within the caverns of the End dimension. This artifact, a shimmering orb pulsating with an otherworldly glow, seemed to beckon him closer. Scar, ever the adventurer, couldn’t resist its allure.

Excitedly, he returned to the Overworld, his mind racing with possibilities.

“This could be the next big thing!” he exclaimed to Grian, his fellow Hermit and partner in mischief. Grian, always ready for a good laugh or a clever prank, raised an eyebrow.

“What do you mean? Is it a new kind of diamond? Or maybe an ancient relic that grants wishes?”

Scar grinned, “Even better! I think it’s a hoax that can trick players into thinking they have superpowers! Imagine the chaos we could create!”

Grian’s eyes sparkled with mischief. “Count me in! But we need a plan. We can’t just throw this orb around and hope for the best.”

Meanwhile, Xisuma, the ever-analytical and often skeptical Hermit, had been observing the duo from a distance. He had heard whispers of Scar’s discovery and was already piecing together the potential implications.

“You two are up to something, aren’t you?” he approached them, crossing his arms with a smirk. “Whatever it is, I hope it’s not another one of your elaborate pranks that ends with someone’s base being blown up.”

Scar and Grian exchanged glances, their expressions a mix of excitement and mischief.

“Oh, it’s definitely a prank,” Grian admitted, “but it’s going to be legendary!”

Xisuma sighed, knowing he couldn’t resist the allure of a good prank either. “Alright, I’m in. But let’s make sure it doesn’t get out of hand.”

The trio devised a plan to spread the rumor of the artifact’s powers. They crafted a series of elaborate signs and banners around the Hermitcraft server, claiming that the orb could grant players the ability to fly, mine instantly, or even summon mobs at will. They placed these signs in high-traffic areas, ensuring that every Hermit would see them.

As the days passed, the server buzzed with excitement and confusion. Players began to gather around the signs, whispering about the orb and its supposed abilities. Some even tried to test their newfound “powers,” resulting in hilarious mishaps - like Mumbo Jumbo attempting to fly and crashing into his own redstone contraptions, or TangoTek summoning mobs that promptly turned on him.

Scar, Grian, and Xisuma watched from a distance, barely containing their laughter.

“This is better than I imagined!” Scar exclaimed, clutching his sides.

Grian, barely able to breathe from laughing, added, “I can’t believe they’re actually falling for it!”

However, as the prank continued, Xisuma began to feel a twinge of guilt. “What if this goes too far? We need to put a stop to it before someone gets hurt or really frustrated.”

Scar and Grian, still caught up in the excitement, shrugged off his concerns.

“Come on, Xisuma! It’s all in good fun!” Grian insisted.

But Xisuma wasn’t convinced. He decided to investigate the orb himself, hoping to find a way to reveal the truth before things escalated further. He trekked back to the End dimension, where Scar had first found the artifact. As he examined it closely, he realized it was nothing more than a decorative block, with no magical properties whatsoever.

Returning to the Overworld, Xisuma confronted Scar and Grian. “Guys, it’s just a block! There’s nothing special about it!”

Scar’s face fell. “Wait, what? You mean we’ve been pranking everyone with a hoax that’s just a regular old block?”

Grian’s laughter faded as he processed the news. “Well, that’s... disappointing.”

Xisuma nodded. “We need to come clean before this spirals out of control. Let’s gather everyone and reveal the truth.”

Reluctantly, Scar and Grian agreed. They called an emergency meeting with all the Hermits, gathering in a central location. With a sheepish grin, Scar stepped forward. “Alright, everyone, we have something to confess. The orb... it’s a hoax! It doesn’t grant any powers!”

The crowd erupted into a mix of laughter and groans.

“We knew it!” shouted Mumbo, shaking his head.

“You guys always pull the wildest pranks!” Tango added, “I thought I was going to be the next superhero!”
