One of the guards clears his throat, and Aonung turns to see the door is open for him. He walks in, and is immediately met with his sister running over to him from the living room.Tsireya- Aonung! I heard what happened. Are you alright?
She looks him over, seeing a few sores on him but nothing serious.
Aonung- I'm fine, Neteyam took care of me.
Yonohan- Oh I bet he did.
Her instantly annoyed gaze snaps to Yonohan, strolling out from the kitchen with a mug of tea in his hand.
Tsireya- Don't start, Grandfather.
Aonung- Yeah, he did.
He responds strongly, but not with anger.
Yonohan- You seem proud, like he wasn't the reason you went out drinking to begin with.
Aonung- He wasn't, you were.
Yonohan- The way I see it, if you weren't involved with him, none of that would have happened.
Aonung- None of it would've happened if you weren't such a prick. Neteyam doesn't give a shit about who's boss, or being in charge. That's not how relationships work.
Yonohan- Is that what he told you?
Aonung- It's what I already knew. I just forgot for a while, thanks to an old ass nightmare of a person.
Yonohan- Look at you. Your true colors showing. Disrespectful, foul mouthed, weak, ill tempered, and spineless.
Tsireya- That's enough, Grandfather. You're being disrespectful too, stop it.
The man momentarily looks at Tsireya, then back to Aonung without responding to her.
Yonohan- I see you always let other people fight your battles, while you stand there like a damsel in distress.
Aonung- Call me all the feminine insults you want, you're just wasting your breath.
Yonohan glares at him for his tone, then Aonung turns to Tsireya again, who looks less upset after seeing him stand his ground.
Aonung- Where's father?
Tsireya- Went with mother to get tickets for this guy to leave, and he'll accompany him.
Aonung- Why?
Tsireya- I'm not sure. He didn't give a straight answer when I asked.
Aonung- Alright.
Tsireya- How was your stay at the Sullys? You aren't moving out are you?
Aonung- It was nice being with Neteyam, but no, I'm not going anywhere.
She lets out a breath of relief, which makes him chuckle softly.
Aonung- What, were you gonna miss barging into my room uninvited?
Tsireya- Yes.
Yonohan- So you're not leaving? Now that's surprising.
Aonung rolls his eyes at the unwanted input.
He thought his dismissal from the conversation was clear when he started talking to his sister like the old man wasn't there. But still, Yonohan runs his mouth.
Yonohan- I thought for sure you had come to collect your things and run back to your owner.
Tsireya gives the man a look of disgust and disappointment.
Tsireya- What is wrong with you?
Aonung- Ignore him, Reya. He's just full of shit.
Yonohan- The word is pride, which you are severely lacking, yet you don't seem the least bit bothered by. It's disgraceful.
Aonung- Whether I'm "the man" all day, or arch my ass in the air, it doesn't matter how you feel about it 'cause it's none of your damn business. So, yeah, I'm not bothered anymore.
Yonohan- You'd make a lot of money in Kau'kin with that attitude.
Aonung- Are you seriously still trying to make a profit off of me?
Yonohan- It isn't for me, it's for you.
Aonung- Forget it, old man, I'm not letting you turn me into some piece of meat.
Yonohan- You really don't need my help with that, but fine. I know when I've lost the argument, but it's your loss in life.
