Aonung leads the Sully boys to the escalator to head right up to the expensive second level. Once they step onto the floor, every store in sight screams money.Lo'ak- Dude, I'll only be able to get like one thing, look at these places.
Aonung- My balance is back up, I'll get you guys whatever you want.
Neteyam- Didn't your father tell you to spend wisely?
Lo'ak- Don't complain, bro, I want stuff.
Aonung laughs at Lo'ak, then smirks at Neteyam, who rolls his eyes in defeat.
Neteyam- Fine, you can buy him stuff.
Aonung- And you.
Neteyam- What about yourself?
Aonung- I don't really need anything.
Neteyam- You can't just spend all your money on u-
Lo'ak- I want that. Let's go.
Lo'ak bolts towards a store, going right in and up to the silver arm bands and matching necklace he wants. Neteyam shakes his head and Aonung chuckles at him as they follow after Lo'ak.
When they reach him, he holds up the things he wants with a smile on his face.
Aonung- Something tells me you're gonna want more than that. Go get a basket.
The younger Sully boy runs off to get a shopping basket to hold his things.
Neteyam- Don't encourage him to want more.
Aonung- Why not?
Neteyam- You'll spoil him. And he's already spoiled.
Aonung- What's wrong with that?
Neteyam- Seriously?
Aonung- Hey, I gotta get on his good side so he'll let me keep you. Don't you want to stay at my place instead of moving Monday?
He blinks in silence for a second, focusing a little too much on the idea of specifically Aonung keeping him. He shakes the thought away, pleading with his forming affection not to make him zone in on things too deeply.
Neteyam- Yeah. Right, fine, spoil away.
Lo'ak runs back up to them with something new in his basket. Silver loincloth to match the other things.
As they continue looking through the store, Neteyam suddenly finds it hard to deal with himself. He was holding it in so well before he admitted the feelings out loud. He's beginning to wish he hadn't done that.
To distract himself, he looks around at some necklaces, though he would only want to wear such flashy things to an event, rather than on a normal day. He starts to think this store doesn't have anything for him, but then he glances at the marine boy.
He's looking at something with Lo'ak, but that just reminds Neteyam how he isn't buying anything for himself. Perhaps there's something in this place that would suit Aonung. He observes the boy as he follows Lo'ak, and tries to see if anything catches his eye.
Unfortunately, Aonung keeps his attention on everything Lo'ak shows him. Seeing that his attempts are useless, he resorts to what he thinks Aonung might like, observing the boy's attire.
His loincloth is grey with yellow, his armband is yellow and orange, and his necklace has grey and white beads with a tooth hanging from it. Maybe he'd like something grey. So with that thought in mind, Neteyam looks for things of that color. Everything he finds, though, is so flashy.
Lo'ak- I'm done, bro. Are you getting anything?
He turns and sees the many things in Lo'ak's basket.
Neteyam- No, these things aren't really me.
They go to check out, then leave with a happy bouncing Lo'ak holding the bag filled with his new things.
Aonung- Your turn to pick, Neteyam.
