Yar looks at them with clear confusion, then back over to Aonung, who's being carried off by Haeda with an adult leading them out of the cafeteria. Rotxo and the other two follow behind them.Neteyam- I can't wait like this anymore. We have to do something. Haven't you come up with anything?
Pike- It's not as simple as just separating them. Rotxo is too dangerous to leave unsupervised.
Neteyam- You call that supervision? He just passed out!
Yar- Wait, you guys are trying to break them up? I can help.
They each exchange a look. Yar may be their friend, but he's on the outside of this situation.
Lo'ak- It's not as simple as that, Rotxo-
Yar- Is a crazy ass bitch? Yeah, I know. Everyone does, really, but some more than others.
Neteyam- And you?
Yar- His dad crashed with my mom on the highway once because he was riding drunk, but somehow we ended up getting sued.
Pike- Damn.
Yar- I've also seen Haeda beating the hell outta some kid that messed with him before, but even though I told an adult, nothing ever happened to him.
Lo'ak- They really are untouchable.
Yar- Yeah, I know they got some shady shit goin' on. For one, my dad says they got too rich too fast. My uncle and Rotxo's dad were in the same Gen. They weren't so wealthy then.
Neteyam leans his arms on the table, clasping his hands together as he thinks.
Lo'ak- All that money really helps them get outta shit.
Yar- Damn right. I don't know how things work where you guys came from, but money is power in this city, and Rotxo has a hell of a lot of that. Plus, I'm pretty sure they deal in the dark or some shit.
Neteyam- So the only way to deal with him is to get on his level.
Pike- There's no way you guys can reach that league as quickly as you need to.
Yar- Well, you don't technically need your own money, sometimes having a good wealthy friend helps.
Lo'ak- He isn't really good with the whole having friends thing.
Yar- But I'm his friend.
Lo'ak- Did he tell you that?
Yar- No.
Lo'ak- Exactly.
Yar- Hmm.
As he hums in thought, he looks around the cafeteria searching his brain for ideas, until his eyes land on a certain wealthy Gen 3 student.
Yar- How are you with girls?
Pike turns in the direction he's looking, and sees the girl he's referring to.
Pike- Not her.
Yar- But she's the only other one that's untouchable.
Pike- And she's also the school head's daughter. You know she doesn't date anyone average, plus she's picky about who she talks to.
Lo'ak- She sounds like a prissy bitch.
Yar- Aha, but she's not.
Neteyam- How is she not?
Yar- She doesn't talk to anyone outside her small clique because she knows people would use her for her money. And she doesn't date average guys because she doesn't want anyone thinking they can mooch off her.
Neteyam- Hm, sounds justified.
Lo'ak- Not to me, she still sounds like a bitch. Lumping everyone in together like they're all the same.
Yar- Well you don't have to like her, it's Neteyam we need, he looks more mature.
Lo'ak- Yeah good luck with that, he likes Aonung.
He smacks Lo'ak's forehead as Yar's mouth drops.
Neteyam- One more time, Lo'ak, I swear.
Lo'ak- Sorry, it just slips out.
