An alarm clock goes off, making the Sully boys groan. It's the only thing their mother found that could wake Lo'ak up. Without chauffeurs, Neytiri has to take all of the children to school before heading to work. Jake got her another Ilu to help pull the raft they have for transporting their family.Neteyam leans up rubbing his eyes, letting the alarm clock continue to go off. He always waits for Lo'ak to actually get up from his bed to turn it off, to make sure he doesn't try to go back to sleep.
With another groan, Lo'ak drags himself out of his bed and over to the alarm clock set on a nightstand in front of the window between their beds.
They don't have a balcony here, but the view from the window is still nice. There's no wardrobes, but there's still plenty of space for their clothes in the walk-in closet. Plus they still have their own bathroom they don't have to share with their sisters.
As they both head into the bathroom, Neteyam rinces his face and brushes his teeth while waiting for Lo'ak who was the first to hop in the shower. Once he's done, they swap places.
Across the hall, Kiri and Tuktirey have already washed up and are picking out their clothes together. Tuktirey always gets Kiri up much earlier than she wants, so they don't need an alarm to get them up. Being up earlier doesn't make them finish their morning routine much faster though, since they take quite a while to pick which accessories to add.
Once they're done, they walk out into the hall, the same time their brothers exit their room as well.
Lo'ak- Damn it, we tied again.
Kiri- Face it, boys, we'll always be two wins ahead, thanks to Tuk.
Tuktirey- Power of the early risers!
Lo'ak- We don't have to wake up early to win.
Neteyam- Bro, that's exactly what we'd have to do to win.
Lo'ak- Are you sure?
Kiri- Not this again.
Neteyam- I'm not having that debate with you today.
They all head downstairs and see their mother sending Jake out the door with some lunch she prepared for him. Breakfast is already in the middle of the table waiting for them to take what they want and eat.
Neteyam only took a week to decide he was ready to live with his family in their new house. At first he was planning to stay, feeling worried for what Aonung put himself in, but even though they still trained together, the boy stopped talking to him.
The only things he ever bothered to speak about were his skills in the water, and he wouldn't let Neteyam speak on anything else or he would end their training. No matter what he did, Aonung wouldn't budge, and he was never granted another kiss, as if the first ones never happened to begin with.
He got fed up with it, and decided to leave.
It's halfway through the year now, and he's fallen into a new routine with the rest of his family. He has a Skimwing now, but doesn't ride it often since he just goes with his siblings letting their mother take him as well. Truth is, he could use some outside of school practice on it. His teachers help him in the course, but mainly leave it up to Aonung.
They have the same active classes, since the marine boy was in charge of him before, but these days he mainly handles things on his own. He doesn't stray too far from Aonung though.
Despite the obvious change, he still feels more secure when he's near him.
