The younger two teens sit with their mouths agape for a moment before speaking.Lo'ak- Holy shit, that guy is responsible for everything you went through!
Aonung- Well, I'm sure Haeda would've brought his own trouble. The whole family was messed up.
Lo'ak- Yeah, but I picture Haeda being a lot less trouble than Rotxo. He was fuckin' maniacal, but Haeda was just an angry minion or something.
Kiri- Are you sure you're okay with how your granddad caused all that shit?
Aonung- I'm putting it behind me. I don't want to focus on it anymore, it'll only make Neteyam worry.
Neteyam grabs his hand, intertwining their fingers, and leans over to kiss his shoulder.
Neteyam- I'm just glad you told me. And if you want revenge, I'll gladly kill him for you.
Aonung looks at him scared for a moment and Kiri laughs at him.
Lo'ak- No way, bro, I can't have you getting arrested.
Neteyam- Call it an accident, blame it on my condition.
Kiri falls out laughing, leaning over on the bed, while Lo'ak and Aonung both look at Neteyam with a fear in their eyes. He's joking, but for some reason, Kiri is the only one who can tell at the moment.
Lo'ak- Why are you laughing?! He's trying to kill someone!
Neteyam joins in Kiri's laughter, and Aonung relaxes, realizing he isn't serious.
Neteyam- Be calm, Lo, I was kidding.
Lo'ak- It's kinda hard not to take you seriously after you shot up the house, bro.
Neteyam's ears instantly lay back as he thinks about it.
Neteyam- I can't believe Tuk was right there.
Lo'ak- And she was fine, man, I was more scared than she was.
Kiri- She's fearless as hell, didn't make a noise. Meanwhile, I full on screamed.
Lo'ak- And Aonung was just confused as hell when he came downstairs after that shit.
The teens share a laugh, making light fun of the situation that isn't actually funny but somehow seems to humor them now that it's over. But the atmosphere doesn't remain so light, because Aonung can tell Neteyam is now thinking deeply about something.
Aonung- What is it?
His siblings look at him, and Lo'ak already knows what his brother wants to talk about.
Lo'ak- What happened at Zanin's
Aonung looks at him with confusion, then to Neteyam.
Aonung- What?
Neteyam- You went to Zanin's party and got drunk. You know that much, right?
Aonung- Y-Yeah.
Neteyam- And you came across Yar. I want to know what happened. He said you threw a bottle at him. What did he do to you?
Aonung- Uh-
Lo'ak- The question is "Did he do something to you?".
Neteyam- You know he did something.
Lo'ak- No I don't, and you don't either, that's why we're asking Aonung.
Kiri- Hearing you talk with so much maturity is scary.
Lo'ak- I'm just trying to get a point across.
Neteyam- Why do you sound like you're trying to defend him? Do you like him?
Lo'ak- No, man. I'm all Niráli's.
Neteyam- Then why are you on his side?
Lo'ak- I'm not on anyone's side! If I was, I'd be on yours, as always.
Neteyam- That's not what it seems like.
Aonung- I don't know.
Aonung answers abruptly, interrupting the Sully boys' bickering.
Neteyam- You don't remember?
Aonung- No, sorry.
Lo'ak- Oh, well I guess we'll never know. Who wants a snack? I have some stashed.
Kiri- What do you have?
Neteyam- Seriously?
Neteyam looks between his siblings that just moved on without a second thought.
Kiri- Sorry, Tey, but he doesn't remember anything, you can't force him to. Why are you so sure Yar did something to him anyway?
Neteyam- He was hiding something.
Lo'ak- Now that I'm thinking about it, you could've just asked him what happened, but you just went straight to blaming him.
Neteyam- Are you saying it's my fault we don't know anything?
Lo'ak- Tey! Bro, what is your deal right now? You're never this irrational.
Kiri- I second that. What's up with you?
Neteyam- (sighs) Sorry, I just really hate the idea of him trying to take advantage of Aonung. It's really messing with my head.
Aonung's ears begin to droop as he averts his eyes, looking down at the floor.
Lo'ak- It's fine, I guess. Maybe we can go apologize tomorrow, and get some answers so you can chill the fuck out.
Neteyam- Yeah. Yeah, we can do that.
Kiri- Let's just hope it isn't so. The last thing we need is Tey going after him with Dad's gun.
Her brothers start laughing, and she joins in, thinking herself funny.
Kiri- I'm never letting that go.
Lo'ak- He's gonna have to hide that thing.
Neteyam- If I can't use the gun, be prepared to hold me back.
The three Sully siblings laugh once more, but Neteyam's laugh cuts off when Aonung pulls his hand away from him, placing it firmly on the bed. He looks over with subtle confusion, and is met with Aonung's serious expression.
Aonung- Can they leave?
Neteyam- Uh-
Lo'ak- Hey, this is my room too, man.
Aonung looks back to the floor, making Neteyam look a little concerned. Kiri stands from Lo'ak's bed, and pulls him up with her.
Kiri- You can share my bed tonight, come on.
Lo'ak- But-
Kiri- Bye guys.
Kiri drags Lo'ak out of the room, and closes the door behind them. Lo'ak can be heard complaining in the hall until they go into Kiri and Tuktirey's room.
