It's a bright but chilly Friday afternoon, and the oldest Sully boy is behind the checkout counter of a familiar clothing store, along with three other cashiers.

It's been five months since graduation, and he's been working here for three of them. Since the other cashiers remembered him and talked him up to their manager, it was a quick hire, though he knows it's just because they think he's cute.

He misses the warmer days already, but also appreciates being able to wear his favorite hooded top, which he has on today. Business is always slower here on weekdays, because their main shoppers are teens, but it booms on weekends.

His favorite coworker, a woman named Jia, sighs in the relative silence, feeling bored. She's mated, and has two young kids, and is always saying she's afraid of the day they reach adolescence. Her register is on his right.

On his left is a younger woman, named Tanvi, who always wears a bow in her hair. She's fun, single and very flirtatious, but knows better than to flirt with him for real.

Placed on the other side of her is Wilda, who is like a more subtle version of Tanvi, minus the bow. She always has a story to tell because of the many attempts at dating that just keep happening.

Jia suddenly sighs again, making Tanvi copy her just for fun.

Wilda- You'd be complaining if all those kids were up in here right now.

Jia- Yeah, but slow business isn't my forte either, and when someone does come in, they go straight to Neteyam to check out.

Neteyam- Jealous?

The door opens, and Neteyam is quick to start his greeting, but stops mid-sentence when he sees who walked in.

Aonung- What? I'm not worth the whole greeting?

The girls coo as Aonung walks up to the counter with a box of cupcakes, and Neteyam rolls his eyes playfully. He keeps telling the marine boy his manager doesn't like when they get food on the job, but he doesn't listen.

Neteyam- If I get fired because of you-

Aonung- You'll finally do what I suggested before?

Wilda laughs as Aonung opens the box allowing them to grab a cupcake to eat. They've heard this conversation before, and are wondering if it'll end the same as last time.

Neteyam- Aonung, I need to work and make my own money.

Aonung- But I'm loaded.

He grabs a cupcake for himself and bites into it, while Neteyam gives him a deadpanned look.

Neteyam- With what? Your parents' money?

Aonung- It's called an allowance, and it's mine.

Neteyam- You can't keep living off your parents like that.

Aonung- Why not?

Aonung gives him a genuinely confused look, unaware of the frosting on his lip, and he can't help but laugh because of it. He reaches over the counter and wipes the frosting off with his thumb, then licks it off.

Neteyam- Spoiled ass rich boy.

Aonung- Don't you want to be spoiled too?

Neteyam- No.
