Just outside the reef, Neteyam and Lo'ak have just reached the location of Yar's home, which was given to them by Zanin.

It's a smaller house on a quiet stream that he shares with his older brother, since he wanted to live away from his parents but not alone.

Together, they walk up onto the low porch, and ring the doorbell.

Lo'ak- Remember, bro.

Neteyam- I know, ask and don't accuse. We've been over this.

The door opens, and there stands Yar, who doesn't look happy to see Neteyam. He looks past the boy and to his younger brother.

Yar- Hey, Lo'ak.

Lo'ak- Hey.

Neteyam rolls his eyes at the behavior, then Yar finally acknowledges him.

Yar- Come to complain about your lightweight boyfriend?

Neteyam- We're here for answers.

Yar- Couldn't get them from Aonung? Why doesn't that surprise me?

Lo'ak- He didn't remember.

Yar- Didn't remember? No fuckin' way, he didn't drink enough for that. He's just, as I said, a lightweight.

Neteyam and Lo'ak both give him the same confused look, and he steps to the side.

Yar- Come in, and don't disturb my brother.

The two Sully boys enter and immediately see a large man, muscled up similar to Yar, sleeping on the couch.

Lo'ak- Damn. Does your whole family work out for fun?

Yar- Yup. You should see my sister, she's a beast.

After going through the living room, they head down a hall and to Yar's bedroom. He gestures to his bed, not minding if they sit there with him, so they make themselves comfortable.

Yar- Now, about Aonung.

Neteyam- What happened at the party?

Yar- Straight to the point then, alright. Try not to get mad.

Neteyam- Yar-

Yar- He kissed me.

With widened eyes, Lo'ak looks to his brother, who's wearing a similar expression. His ears are raised in shock, and his tail has gone still.

Neteyam- . . . I don't believe you.

Yar- Look, I know you probably just see me as a guy chasing opportunity, but as much as I'm attracted to you, I still think of you as my friend. More so than most others, in complete honesty.

Neteyam- I still don't-

Yar- And as your friend, Neteyam, I am telling you the truth.

He looks at him with pure sincerity.

Yar- He was drinking, and I immediately knew there was something wrong with that image, so I tried to stop him, and he came onto me.

Neteyam- But, he wouldn't-

Yar- Look, I know Aonung's your tough guy, and he put up with a lot of shit better than most, but at the time he just wasn't all there. I mean he either had no clue what he was doing or didn't care. He kept saying all this weird shit about fighting him.

Lo'ak- Did you fight?

Yar- No. Well, almost, because he kept getting rough with me, and I wanted to sling his ass, but before I could, he did a 180, and started kissing me.

Neteyam- . . .

Yar- And, I know he only had a few drinks, he just couldn't handle it. There's no way he lost his memory at that point, he wasn't gone enough. Now, throwing the bottle at me, he might not remember that, he did it when he was trying to leave.

Both Lo'ak and Yar watch Neteyam intently as he stares into space, trapped in his thoughts.

Lo'ak- Bro?

Neteyam- . . . He lied to me . . . Again.
