Later in the evening, within the home of the Sullys, Kiri and Lo'ak have just finished cleaning off the table. When Neteyam returned home earlier he didn't bother to eat or stop and greet them, he simply went upstairs without a word.

Their parents thought it best to leave him be for a while before going upstairs to check on him, which they are currently doing.

As Kiri starts washing the dishes in the bubble-filled sink, Lo'ak stands off to the side, leaning against the counter. The two wait in silence for just a few more minutes before their parents can be heard descending the stairs.

Lo'ak stands straight, ears on alert, and Kiri turns around, pausing her process by turning the faucet off.

With a sigh, Jake follows Neytiri into the kitchen, and the looks on their faces are enough to tell them they couldn't get him to speak. Lo'ak takes a frustrated breath, then aims a very specific expression towards his father, and his mother backs him up by offering her own stern look.

Jake glances between the two multiple times while simultaneously shaking his head.

Jake- No.

Lo'ak- Dad, seriously.

Jake- No, I stopped you from doing that for a reason.

Lo'ak- But you know our bond is the reason we can always help each other so well.

Jake- It's also the reason you got out of hand.

Lo'ak- Once. Dad, please. If he really won't talk to anyone, then this is how we figure it out.

Neytiri- Neteyam has not been under that blanket of his in a while, Jake, something is really troubling him.

Kiri- Think it's Aonung?

Lo'ak- Could be, but we'll only know for sure if Dad just lets me do this.

Jake glances between the now three family members with worried faces, then finally he gives into his own concern.

Jake- Fine, but if you ever get out of hand again I really will put an end to it. Understood?

Lo'ak- Yes, sir.

Jake- Go on.

Lo'ak nods to Kiri before running up the staircase while she resumes washing the dishes with a quickness. He goes straight to his room and stops in the doorway, observing his brother under his favorite blanket and facing the wall. Cautiously, he makes his way over to the bed and gently sits down.

Neteyam looks up at him, but still doesn't say a word. Without starting a conversation, Lo'ak pulls his queue from behind himself and holds it out to him.

With a sigh, Neteyam sits himself up, letting the blanket fall to his waist, and pulls his own foward, allowing it to connect with his brother's.

He can immediately feel his brother's concern, and Lo'ak almost flinches at his anger, but soon realizes that isn't the only emotion spiraling within him.

With their queues still attached, Lo'ak scoots further into the bed and crosses his legs, preparing for their discussion.

Lo'ak- Only one person ever gets your head mixed up like this. What did Aonung do?

Neteyam releases a heavy and exhausted breath, and runs his hands along his face.
