Not long after being called, Neteyam appears at the top of the stairs, and strolls down halfway to see who came for Aonung. His mother is clearly irritated, and Kiri keeps eyeing the stranger in the room.

He takes a look at the older man himself, seeing what he can pick up.

Yonohan- So this is the boyfriend.

Tonowari- This is Neteyam. Be respectful, father, please.

Yonohan- I wish I could say I was surprised. Well, him being Omatikayan is a surprise, and he's similar in size, but he's definitely Aonung's type. He has the gaze of authority.

Neteyam doesn't speak a word, too focused on observing every centimeter of this man's tone, expression, and subconscious behavior.

Jake- This is Tonowari's father, Yonohan. They want to-

Yonohan- Please, Jake, you don't have to speak for us.

Jake- Yeah, but-

Yonohan- Well, young man. I apologize for this meeting being brief, but we'll be taking your bitch for the weekend, he has business to attend to.

Tonowari- Father!

Neteyam's ears perk up and his eyes widen. He almost missed it, so focused on observation.

Neteyam- What did you just call him?

Yonohan- Oh, do you call him something different? Subordinate? Slut? Perhaps he has no name at all?

Neteyam- It's you.

Lo'ak and Kiri are the only ones to notice Neteyam's soft spoken realization. Neytiri's mouth sits agape, hardly believing this rude old man standing in her home.

Tonowari- Father, I told you to-

Yonohan- Shut your mouth, boy, I'm tired of hearing you yap.

Tonowari- But you can't just-

Jake- It's fine, Tonowari.

Yonohan- Bring Aonung out, we have to get going.

Neteyam- He's not going anywhere with you, old man.

Jake opens his mouth to ask his son to be kinder, but before he can speak, Yonohan's voice fills the room.

Yonohan- You should really teach your son not to be so rude, Jake.

Jake internally curses himself for even thinking of trying to have his son be respectful to someone so rude.

Yonohan- Honestly, I have a mind to think he's the reason Aonung decided to run off and get wasted, instead of facing his problems like a man. His sorry ass is probably up there hiding.

Neytiri- Why would he be hiding?

Yonohan- Shut your mouth, woman. This doesn't concern you.

Neytiri- This is my house! I will say whatever I want, you disgraceful old man!

Jake- Hun, please, don't give him the time of da-

Yonohan- Forget this. Aonung!

Yonohan storms towards the stairs, and Neytiri jumps past Jake and into his way.

Neytiri- I don't think so! Get the hell out of my-

He shoves the woman aside, making her fall onto the floor, but before he can take another step forward, Jake tackles the man.

They fall into one of the side tables and knock over a lamp, making it hit the floor with a shatter.

Jake hardly notices since he's punching Yonohan senselessly and cursing up a storm.

Lo'ak and Kiri leap off the couch and run to their mother, who is perfectly fine aside from her intense rage, but Neteyam is no longer on the stairs. Lo'ak looks around the room, but doesn't see him.

Tonowari grabs Jake under his arms and struggles to pull him away from his father since he keeps lunging forward and throwing his fists.

Lo'ak stands, helping his mother up, then goes over to the stairs, only to see his baby sister coming down, rubbing sleep from her eyes.

Tuktirey- What's going on, Lo?

Lo'ak- Tuk, now isn't a good time, just go back to bed oka-

Neteyam- Hold on!

Everyone's head snaps back towards the hall of Jake and Neytiri's room, looking at Neteyam standing there with Jake's old gun in his hands.

In the span of a second, Lo'ak grabs Tuktirey and ducks down as bullets start flying and breaking things while Neteyam lets out a battle cry.
