Upstairs, the Sully boys are nearly ready. While Lo'ak adds his accessories, Neteyam sits on the side of his bed, not exactly in a party mood. Seeing the way Aonung's been acting on a regular day was enough torture for him, he doesn't want to see what they'll be like at this dance. When Lo'ak walks back into the room, he looks at Neteyam awaiting his opinion. He ended up choosing light turquoise with black as his color theme. His top is mostly turquoise, and his loincloth is mostly black. All shining, to match the black shades he's wearing with it, along with an armband and an earring.
Neteyam- Well would you look at that, you know how to dress yourself.
He rolls his eyes playfully, and walks up to him.
Lo'ak- Come on, bro, give me a proper opinion.
Neteyam- You just want me to say you look hot.
Lo'ak- Hot as shit, yeah, 'cause that's what I was going for.
Neteyam- Well, you look nice.
Lo'ak- Why can't you ever just say what I want you to say.
Neteyam- Lo'ak, you're my cute baby brother, I don't want you looking "Hot as shit".
Lo'ak- But I don't wanna just be cute. I can be sexy like you. Now stand up and let me get a good look at you.
With a groan, he stands, and Lo'ak takes a step back to see if he approves. His color theme is all black, since the fabric is sparkling and he was hoping to tone it down some. The neckpiece of his top is thin, resting low on his neck, and the sleeves fit closely.
Lo'ak- You're missing something.
Neteyam- Like what?
Lo'ak- Flare. You're supposed to stand out, not blend in. Why the hell did I let you buy that? Wait, don't you have a-Hold on.
He takes the shirt right off of his brother, ignoring his protest, then goes into the closet. When he walks back out, he holds up one of the tops Aonung had bought for him before, but hasn't worn it yet since it's flashy.
Lo'ak- Arms up.
Neteyam- I can dress myself, Lo.
Lo'ak- Obviously you can't or I wouldn't have had to change your outfit. Now come on, we wanna be fashionably late, for dramatic affect, not late late.
He rolls his eyes and snatches the top, putting it on himself. Its neckpiece is thick and silver, and the sleeves are closely fitted. The top itself is black, but there's trails of silver falling from the neckpiece. As Lo'ak observes, he nods.
Lo'ak- Perfect. It makes up for your lack of accessories.
Neteyam- Great.
He frowns a bit, unable to ignore the obviously unenthused tone his brother is using.
Lo'ak- What's up with you today? You should be pumped, the party is finally here.
Neteyam- Yeah, but . . .
Lo'ak- Hey, listen to me. We're gonna go up in there, impress the rich bitch, and maybe actually try to have fun.
Neteyam- Maybe we shouldn't be trying to do anything.
Lo'ak- What do you mean?
Neteyam- I'm just . . . I'm starting to think that I should just forget about this.
Lo'ak- You can't give up.
Neteyam- I don't even recognize who I'm fighting for anymore, Lo. How do I even know he's still there under whatever the hell that is?
Lo'ak- Pike said-
Neteyam- Pike doesn't hurt like I do when he sees that shit!
He sighs deeply, trying to calm himself so he doesn't attract their parents' attention.
Lo'ak- Tey, you need to relax. I know this whole situation is all you've been thinking about, so I am ordering you to have some fun tonight. You understand?
Neteyam- But I don't-
Lo'ak- Hush.
Neteyam half chuckles at the interruption.
Lo'ak- We're gonna go to this party, have some fun, score some girls and have an overall great night. Just remember to dial it back some, when you dance.
Neteyam- I know that much, bro.
Lo'ak- I'm just making sure. I know how you get sometimes, and she ain't ready for that.
He rolls his eyes a bit playfully, then starts heading for the door.
Neteyam- Come on.
