2 months later

"Damn he just shot the man in the face like that? That's basically his cousin."Marcus said as he grabbed a handful of popcorn from my lap.

I had been feeling a lot better lately. I was where I wanted to be career wise I was single and my life was drama free.

Me, Blake, Cole, and Marcus were now in their house watching Empire. Javon had flew to LA to check in Erica and the baby and I'm happy for him. I don't know if they're exploring a relationship beyond co-parenting but I stopped caring a long time ago. I didn't speak to him and he didn't speak to me and when we were around each other nothing was said. Marcus and I are now cool again we flirt every now and then but I don't plan on being in a relationship with him and anyone else for that matter. I was chilling and focusing on JoJo.

"Sooo yall know how we got invited to the opening of Naked?"

Cole and Marcus nodded.

"Well since we can bring a plus 1 we were hoping yall could be our dates." Blake said cheering from ear to ear.

Marcus and Cole looked at each other and shook their head.

"You know I love yall but there is no way Ima be in some fucking female store for hours doing what? Just staring at skinny ass mannequin?"

"Babbyyyy come on please we gonna look lonely as hell if we the only one there with nobody."

"Yall can pass for a lesbian couple. Love wins remember." I punched his arm.

"Damn JoJo manly ass hands." I giggled

"Just come please it'll be funnnnn"

Cole sucked his teeth.

"Fine man damn but I'll be the first to leave if that shit buzz."

"Okay good it starts a 8 which means yall need to e at the condo at 7."

"Damn we gotta drive to." Blake popped his head.

"Yes nigga you gotta drive."she eyes him as if she was daring to say something .

He glared at her and rolled his eyes not saying anything.

"Okay good it's 3 now so we're gonna go and start getting ready we'll see yall later."

We got into my car and left.

About 3 hours later we were done getting dressed and waiting for the guys to come so we could go.

It felt like we had spent years at the mall and it was surely worth it.

I decided to wear all white. I wore a white bra like crop top with a white cardigan over it. White see through joggers with white shorts built in my gold and white Giuseppe point toe heels and I topped it off with gold accessories. I decided to wear my hair by just putting glasses on to push back my loose curls.

Blake wore the opposite and wore mostly black. She had on a navy gray Crop top with a long black cardigan and black skinny jeans with a gold belt around the waist she wore knee length boots and flat ironed her hair. We looked pretty good so the night was already starting off perfect.
