"Calum?" Lily asked. I looked up to her. "What's wrong?" I shook my head. "Nothing. I think I should go. I'll be back sometime." She took my hand. "Be careful Calum." I nodded. "Alright." I said kissing her hand. She smiled.

•Flashback•
I sat in the corner of my room covering my ears. I rocked back and forth. "Stop." I said to myself. "Stop yelling." I then heard a bang on my door. I ran up to it and locked it. "No, I don't want you here." I screamed. "Calum it's me!" My sister. I unlocked the door and let her in. She pulled me over to my bed and held my head. "I'm scared Mali." I cried. She rubbed my back. "I am too Calum. I am too." She pulled me in closer as our mother banged on my door. "Open the door you little shits!" She yelled. I closed my eyes. "Go away. Go away." I quietly said. "Calum it's okay." Then I heard a smash. "What was that?" I asked Mali. She looked down to me. "Just her glass." I nodded. My breathing was heavy. "What's wrong with mommy?" I asked her. "She's sick. She's insane. She needs help."

For the rest of the night Mali and I stayed in my room. "Calum get some sleep." I shook my head. "I can't sleep with her yelling." Mali sighed. She climbed onto my bed. "Come on." She said pulling the covers over her legs. I crawled in. "I'm scared." I said tears coming to my eyes. She pulled me into a hug. "I am too Calum." She put her hand on my back. "We can get through this together." I nodded. "When will she stop?" I said. "I don't know Calum. I don't know."

"Mom! He didn't do anything!" My eyes flashed open. Mali stood in front of me. "Mom, you stay away from him." Mali yelled. "He's not your son! Let me see my boy!" My mother yelled. Mali shook her head. "Calum leave!" I stood up and began to run towards my door. I could feel a hand on my shoulder. "Come here Calum." I shook my head. I tried to pull away from her. "Let me go!" I screamed. She let go. Her eyes became wide. "Calum?" She questioned. Mali grabbed my hand and pulled me. "Come on Calum." She said bringing me downstairs. "Where do you think you're going!" Our mom yelled. "Somewhere far from here!" Mali yelled to her walking me out the door.

"Where are we going?" I asked her. She shrugged. "I don't know. Wherever we end up is where we stay." She said. "What about dad?" I asked. She looked down at me. "He left us Calum. He left us and never told us where he is going." I looked down. "I want to go back home." She shook her head. "And go back to her? No. We're not going back Calum." I nodded. "Okay."

•One Day Later•
"Should we go to Luke's?" Mali asked. I nodded. "I'm still scared." She bent down to me. "Don't be scared Calum. We're going to be better without her." I nodded. "I'm trusting you."

As we walked to Luke's house police cars raced by us. "Shit." Mali said. "What?" I asked. "She closed the police." Her voice shook. "Come on." She grabbed my hand and began to run down the street.

"What are we going to do!" I yelled to her. "Let's just get to Luke's house." I shook my head. "Mali," she shook her head. "We're going to his house. Come on Calum."
•Flashback over•

I sat in the waiting room of the hospital waiting for the doctor to call me in. "Calum Hood!" Someone yelled. I looked up. I walked over to the doctor. "Hello," he said. "Right this way." I nodded following him down the hall to his room.

"Is it as bad as it looks?" I asked. The doctor touched the burn. I winced. "Seems to be first degree. It's not major but you'll need to put something on this." I nodded. I pulled my shirt back down. "How did this happen?" He asked. "It doesn't seem to be a fire type of burn. Was it an iron or brander?" I looked at him. "An iron sir." He nodded. He looked down at his note pad. "Here. Take this and see the nurse out front." I nodded standing up.

"Ma'am." I said walking up to a nurse. "The doctor who just saw me told me to give this to you." She looked at it and nodded. "Come right over here." She said. I walked over to the desk. "Alright." She said looking through one of her drawers. "Here it is." She then brought up a small tube. "Just follow the instructions on the label and you'll be all set." I nodded. "Thank you."

As I walked into the Mayweather, I waked up to a doctor. "Excuse me, is Luke Hemmings in his room by any chance." He nodded. "He should be there but if not he's in with his therapist." I nodded walking down to his room. I banged on his door. "Luke?" The door opened. "Help." I looked down. There was a boy with jet black hair and blood rushing down the side of his head. I walked in helping the boy onto one of the beds. "What's your name?" I asked him. "Michael." The boy said. "Full name?" He sighed. "Michael Gordon Clifford." I nodded. "What happened?" He shrugged. "I don't know. Luke went crazy saying how Niall wants him to become blind." I looked at him. "What?" Michael shook his head. "Luke basically tried to take his eye out." I shuddered. "What's your name?" Michael asked. "Calum." He nodded. "Well Calum, might want to check the bathroom. That's where I saw Luke go before I passed out. I nodded walking up to the door. "Luke?" I questioned. No answer. "Luke!" I said again. "No!" I heard a voice yell. "You'll kill us both!" I banged on the door again. "Luke open the motherfucking door!" I then heard a slam. "Luke!"
