Chapter 43

*Maddie's Pov*

"Jc! What happened?" I ask and he just sits on the couch and goes on his phone

"Nothing... He's fine." I sigh...

Clearly he's not! 

I start to walk up the stares but then someone grabs my arm

"Bad Idea Maddie you know he needs a while to cool down..." Ricky says looking down to me

"Your right..." I sigh Sitting back on the couch and then Trevor puts on Tangled.

About halfway through the movie Kian comes downstairs grabs his Starbucks thats probably hot now and he walks outside

What is wrong with him why the fuck is he acting like this, usually when he see's someone watching Tangled he would jump right down and watch it too... Its his favourite movie I hear a knock at the door and then Ava walking right in.

"Maddie! I'm here to take you  home because you and Tash are not going back there tonight!" She says running up to me and hugging me

"But we have to Tash doesn't have any clean clothes,"

"I bet Mum has some really old clothes of mine that will fit her, Now come on we are going before he gets here..." She says 

"Um ok let me tell Kian. Tash get your stuff." I say and walk out the back and find him swimming in the pool. 

"Hey Kian, You ok?" I ask and he stops swimming laps and looks up to me

"Yeah I'm fine...When are you going back?" He asks jumping out of the pool

"Tash and I are staying at Ava's tonight... Jason Doesn't know where she live so thats the safest place to be..."

"Alright you want me to drive you there?"

"No I'll be fine, its not that far anyway..." 

"Alright well stay safe ok?" He says hugging me

"KIAN!! YOUR WET!!" I squeal

"Sorry but I just love you!!" He says squeezing me more

"Kian I need to go!" I say hugging him 

"Ok well be safe and I'll take you to Jasons tomorrow or something." He says kissing my forehead

"Ok I'll call you I guess."

"Ok cya" he says and then dives back into the pool

Yep... Good chat

I say good bye to everyone and then Tash and I grab our stuff and start heading to Avas place.

It did take us long to get there because she only lives 5 minutes away . We walk in and it has a wooden interior he parents love that type of stuff 

"Just throw your stuff upstairs my parents are in Hawaii for a bit" Ava says

"And why are you not there too then?" Tash asks and then running over to Ava's Siamese cat called SnowBall

"Mum and Dad's anniversary and they know I'm behind on all the school work."

"Still dont understand why they dont let you come back to public school" I say and she nods

"Me too... Cake?" She nods and pulls out a full cake out of the fridge and I nod then Tash stops messing around with Snowball then runs towards Ava

"Tash I think you have had enough sugar." I say and she looks up at me with puppy eyes

"Fine!" I say and Ava hands her some cake then she runs over to the couch 

Why is she so hypo...? JC! He would have given her something! 

*Next day* (Only because i cant think of anything else to write)

I get awaken by Tash and Ava screaming in my face and the I roll over to the left side of the bed only to find my face flat in the carpet and Tash and Ava laughing at me

"Shut up!" I mumble into the carpet but they continue to laugh at my stupidity. I crawl onto my feet and then walk into the bathroom and lean against the sink looking in the mirror only to find my face covered in drool (Gross I know) andIi look like I woke up with the worlds biggest hangover. 

I wash my face and then head back out looking more alive then I did 2 seconds ago.

"Hey Maddie we gotta head over to Jasons He's been blowing up your phone." Ava says and she passes me my phone and I have 13 missed calls and 3 messages

Maddie where are you? -Jason

Maddison what have you done with my daughter! -Jason

I have looked everywhere for you where are you!! -Jason

We are fine Jason... We are somewhere safe. We are heading home now but you need to sort yourself out! -Maddie

"Have you got all your stuff Tash?" I ask and she nods playing with snowball 

"You sure you want to go back?" Ava asks and I nod

"We dont really have a choice..." I say and she nods back

"The man needs help. You guys need to be safe." She says 

"I know but there isnt much we can do." I say 

"Yeah Guess your right..." She says hugging me

"You ready to go Tash?" And she nods nervously. We grab our bags and my board saying our goodbyes to Ava then heading out back to hell.

I open the door to find a sober looking Jason.

"Where the fuck have you been!?" Jason yells and I cover Tash's ear but I was too late

"SWEAR JAR!" She yells

"Go up to your room Tash." I say patting her back and she runs to her bedroom

"Maddie where have you been... and with my daughter." He says moving closer to me and I inch back only to find myself up against the door.

"Jason, We didnt feel safe being here with your drinking! And you hit and you bruised her DID YOU EVER THINK OF THAT?!" I yell and he flinches by the force in my voice

"SO IT GIVES YOU THE RIGHT TO RUN AWAY!?" He yells back

"YOU KNOW WHAT YES! YES IT DOES!"

"No it doesnt Maddie! I was worried sick!"

"Oh you couldnt have cared less!"

The same powerful sting was plastered onto the same cheek as before

"Room... Now!" I just flop onto the ground in pain I couldn't move I was in so much pain...

"I SAID GET TO YOUR.... ROOM!" He yells but just before he says room he kicks me right in the stomach.

Remember how I said I couldn't move? Yeah now I defiantly cant...

"Useless... By the way you are grounded! You are not leaving this house!" He says then walking away.

"Fuck..." I whisper to myself.

Hey Everyone so I just finished typing up the very last chapter of this book. Dont worry! Its like another 16 chapters away or whatever, 

I've started typing up the Epilogue for you guys because I know you would want one!

Also Once im done with that I'm going to start editing the chapters so everything looks neater and better!
