Chapter 36

*Maddie's POV*

After an hour of discussing the bonfire and who is going we decided that we should all head home honestly I didn't want to go... But Tash was getting sleepy and she needed to have dinner and a bath.

"Night you guys!" I say Waving to Kian Jc and JJ as they wave back with The dogs in front on their leads.

When they are out of sight Trevor turns to me.

"Hey Babe how did you get the scar on your back...?" He asks

"It was my Dad... He cut me with a butcher knife." I say putting my head down with Tash falling asleep in my arms

"Why did he...? Sorry..." He says lightly hugging me

"Its fine Really..." I say and start to explain what happened. From the first time he abused me to when he died. At the end I was on the verge of crying... But i kept it in

"Here let me walk you home." He says as I put Tash's shirt and shorts on her and Trevor stuffs the towels in her bag.

"Jason is probably home by now so you wouldn't be able to come in..." I say holding onto Tash and walking home

"That's ok I just wanna make sure you get home safe." He says grabbing my free hand

"Trevor Go... this is your turn off and my house is just after this hill... I'll be fine"

"You sure?" He asks handing me Tash's bag

"I'm sure. Just go" I say and he gives me a small kiss and then kisses Tash's forehead even though she is asleep cuddled up to me

"Bye... Be careful ok?" He says walking off letting go of my hand

"Promise." I say then start heading home.

A few moments later and It home and Jason is sitting on the couch with a glass full of whiskey and the bottle a quarter full on the coffee table and its still fresh... He's probably off his face... Which could mean anything.

"Hey Uncle Jason... I'm just going to put Tash to bed then go as well" I say slightly afraid... I don't know what could happen

"Ok... Thats fine I'm going to be working tomorrow so just look after yourself." He says with a raspy voice

"Oh That reminds me... Can Tash and I stay at Kians place tomorrow?" I ask

"Sure whatever just make sure you look after my girl." He says

"Thanks" I say heading to Tash's room to put her to bed

"Night Tash..." I whisper tucking her in Then I head to my room that's right beside hers which is pretty handy.

I wipe off all my makeup and throw on an over sized shirt and some sweatpants

I flop onto bed and then I fall asleep instantly

I wake up to someone shaking me and the light sound of sniffles. I turn over and open my eyes and I see Tash with tears running down her face with bruises and hand prints all over her arms. 

I pull her up to the bed next to me and give her a hug. Being careful of her arms. She just sobs into my shoulder and then she lets go and faces me after a little while.

"Did Jason do it?" I ask and she nods still crying... I look at the clock and it is one in the morning.

"Get your bag... We are going for a walk..." I say and she runs out to pack her bag.

I quickly get changed into black leggings a blue shirt and black jacket.

I grab a back pack and stuff it with a t-shirt white ripped jeans and a denim jacket with all of the other stuff and then Tash comes in with her bag full of clothes and a little doll in her hand.
