We sat here in awkward silence for like 3 minutes now…
“MADDIE!?!” I hear a voice call.
“JENN! I’m in my room!” I call recognising the voice.
“Hey Gurl! Are you ok?” She asks running in my room.
“Yeah getting there… slowly.” I say hugging Jenn.
“Oh! Hey Sam.” Jen said
“Hey.” He said Twiddling his thumbs.
“Wanna talk about what happened kiddo?” She asked walking over to my bed and I lay in the middle between Sam and Jenn.
It took me a while to explain the dream to Jenn but she completely understood but Sam was really quite which is unusual I wonder if he’s ok.
“Well I’m hungry I’ll go fix up some food.” Jen said
“Ok I think there is some ice cream in the freezer if you wanna get that to.” I say. As Jenn walks out the door.
“Hey Maddie? Sorry… About… Um… Before…” Sam said looking over to me.
“Sammy its ok… It was just a friendly kiss that’s all.” I say
“Yeah I guess…” He said looking down.
“Sam we don’t have to tell anyone about that if you don’t want to…” I say giving him a hug.
“Yeah ok then.” He says returning the hug and smiling.
“HEY MADDIE WHERE DO YOU KEEP THE BOWLS?” Jenn yelled
“I THOUGHT YOU HAVE CAME HERE THAT OFTEN YOU WOULD KNOW BY NOW JENN!” I yell back
“DON’T WORRY I FOUND THEM!”
“You know she is looking for a place to live maybe get her to move in here you know so then you won’t be so lonely…” Sam said
“One- I’m not lonely I have Shadow 2- Yeah I know Kian told me and 3- well... there were no 3…” I say patting Shadow making her fall asleep on my legs.
“Yeah I suppose so I’m just trying to be a supportive older bro!” He said giving me a hug.
“Sure Sam! Can you go help Jenn I have a little thing on my legs.” I say pointing to Shadow
“Sure be back soon.” He says giving Shadow a little pat and patting my head.
“Hey! Meanie!” I say poking my tongue at him.
Sorry about the short chapters! but its ok school finishes for me next week so i should be updating a little more then! By for now!
