"The waters are cold today, ain't they boy", you spoke towards your Tsurak. The large animal made a noise as you rubbed the side of his face. His tail swayed calmly in the waters as you sat ontop of him. A reason why you hated coming out to the Ta'unui Village. They got less sun so their waters stayed freezing.

"You getting to old now you can't handle a little chill", Keanu your bestfriend and right hand strolled up on your left. You could only roll your eyes at his comment. He loved to poke fun of your age even though he was barely younger by a few moons. How funny that worked. "Haha very funny, so original".

Patting the side of Syrax's (Your Tsurak) snout it coaxed the animal to begin moving again. In a calm swim as you returned the reefs of the Ta'unui Village. Definitely one of the more larger neighboring clans that the oceans homed. The oceans had many of beaches and clans all around that lived and survived off the waters of Pandora.

Each piece however was so different from the last. Your village the Met'Kayina was very warm. The sun touched more and stayed longer heating up the beaches and the reefs often. It also allowed great vegetation as well and farm spots. While places like Ta'unui that got less sun was more chilly.

The waters were far more cold and darker in color almost and their farm land was secluded to a farm spot right off the edge of the village's island where the sun hit just right in order for the crops to grow. The Na'vi here were also a little darker in hues of blue. Deeper contrast in stripes to skin where as your strips where like ripples in water.

The few Na'vi that lived closer to the reefs noticed you first. Children ran to greet you. Ran to greet Syrax. Among your people you were their version of Toruk Makto. The pillar of hope. The protector of the land. All the clans knew who you were and if they didn't the grand tattoos and plenty of markings. Scars and all showed them very quickly.

You however embraced it. Going from a reject to a hero was something you took pride in. Knowing that because of your fearlessness children, mothers and fathers got to sleep and rest easy without much worry. It was your calling. Your place to provide what you didn't get as a child. It's what shaped your morals and built your character.

You grab the net of fish that Syrax had been hauling. It was the main reason you were here the Ta'unui was getting less and less food. It angered you. Made your tail sway with a deep rooted frustration. Those damn sky people. Upsetting the balance and Ewya.

Handing the fish off  you took a deep breath taking in the sight of the village. It was getting smaller. "Lots of families have left", Keanu stands beside you with a gruff look. The size was definitely smaller than the first couple of times they've been her. "They are afraid. Ta'unui is a calm sacred village", Keanu shrugged at your words. Not dismissing them but to abandon your village instead of fighting for it to him is the most cowardice thing.

"Commander, I see you"

"Tsahik of the Ta'unui, I see you", You gave a small smile and Keanu took a few steps back. Still within earshot of the conversation of course. Ignoring him you kept your eyes on the slim woman. Young, younger than you by at least 5 moon cycles or so. "I'm just very grateful for you Commander, you don't understand how much you are helping up. Keeping our hope alive", the Tsahik grabbed your hands in a gentle hold as she spoke.
