"Kaltxi, ma yawntu", I murmur in Ronal's ear as I pop a squat behind her. Slowly sinking to my knees once she moved her tail out of the way to curl around her body so that I couldn't accidentally kneel on it.

"Kaltxi muntxate", I smile at the reply as I press a kiss to her shoulder. I love when she calls me that. Wife. I remember our teenage years; Tonowari wanted her. I wanted her and she did not want us. At first it was a challenge. Tonowari was the next Olo'eyktan. I was..well I was nothing but a warrior of the clan but that's not a bad title. I was the best in our class anyways...(not to derail)

At first I thought she was going to accept Tonowari right away but she didn't. She sent him along like a pouting Zakzak. I remember his sulky face when he came back to me. How he recounted the rejection. I laughed and told him to eat defeat. Tonowari's a man. He doesn't understand women. Ronal and I are both woman so it in my eyes it should've been easy. No, she rejected me all the same. If not even a little harsher.

Tonowari spent that night at communal dinner taking his turn to laugh at me. Then somewhere down the line we had teamed up. No longer fighting against each other but with each other for the same prize. Until well Ronal shut us both down in an unceremoniously way. She was not a prize to be won but a person to be loved. We wheren't the only admirers she had either. She was the most beautiful woman in the village and everyone wanted her a bragging rights.

"What are you thinking about..", I blink slightly before craning my head up to look at Ronal. She had paused on grinding herbs staring at me with a level eye. I give her an amused dopey grin before shifting closer so that her back is firmly pressed against my front.

"Just about how much I love when you call me wife and how lucky I am to have you", I  explain coolly with a low voice meeting her eyes with my own. I watch her blush but she doesn't anything. She doesn't have to because I know Ronal. She is not good with feelings and she doesn't express them through words but the way her body tenses in my arms and how her scent shifts tells me everything i already know.

"You are a Skxawng. Shouldn't you be training the warriors now..", I hum pressing my nose into her scent bland. I should be yes. I should be getting the next generation of warriors ready but why would I be out there but I'm so comfortable here. "Keanu and Tua can handle it. I'm very comfortable right here actually"

I let my hand caress her inner thighs while my nose is still pressed firmly against her scent gland. I just love the way she smells. The way her body has changed for the baby growing inside of her. Ronal's scent is usually a mix of spice and seawater but when she is pregnant it becomes very sweet and floral. It's just so good how can you not want to drown in it.

I hear her breath hitch as she tenses up more once I run my tongue over the gland. I don't care that we are in the healers marui. I dont care that others are around. I don't care if she see their Tsahik fall apart at my mercy. Pregnant Ronal just awakens a part of me that needs her. I can't carry life and while it bothered me when we were younger I don't have the desire to carry because that lowers the possibility of Ronal being swollen and full like this. Lowers the possibilities of me being able to get drunk off of her. Takes away my excuse to want to be pressed against her 24/7.
