Im waiting for one of the bathroom stalls to be free , when I felt my phone vibrate inside my pocket . "Whoops excuse me sorry" an older black lady said
I smiled at her and enter the stall after her. After I get I done I wash my hands and head out the bathroom, walking back over to the table seeing Jordan was already paying for the bill I smiled to myself.

"Sorry I'm getting old can't hold it in like I use too" I say laughing "Please your young , how old are you?" Jordan ask "I'll be 24 soon" I say chuckling and she laughs "You guys are still young" Jordan says "Girl please I'm two years younger then you!" Mira says laughing "how old are you?" I asks Jordan "I'm 29" she says scratching her eyebrow , I noticed how full looking they were. "So your 27 Mira" I say and she nods "Yup 20 fucking 7! She says and I chuckle.

She pulls her phone out looking at her self "I need a hair cut man , maybe that's why Kim's been out of line with me" she says opening her mouth wide , as her eyes lighten up , Jordan taps her "That not why but you do need a cut.. the both of you" Jordan says laughing as she looks at my hair too "Chill I kno-" I say before Mira cuts me off "Let's go get our haircut!" she says doing a little cha cha dance in excitement. "If we going .. we're going to my barber" I say laughing and Mira nods "You coming with? You could use a little touch up and my barber nice he gonna dice your shit" I say looking at Jordan , I watch as she smiled at me "Okay I'll let him fade me but that's it" she says laughing "Aight folks let's goo" Mira says finishing up her Apple juice.

I pull my phone out to text Marcus seeing Cyrus sent me a text 7 minutes ago.. My heart starts to race and voices start to fade away when I opened her message.. "fuck you and I'm sorry for being a ass,  forgive me?" I read in my head. I swipe out the message smiling to myself as I go to text her uncle letting him know I was coming in along with 2 other people. I put my phone away , thinking about if I should forgive her or not.. I mean she did say sorry ,I thought to myself before Jordan interrupted my thoughts "You okay? Did you text him?" She says looking down at her watch.

"Oh yeah I did sorry , aight y'all ready to go?" I ask and they both nod "Let's go!" Mira says pushing Jordan over some. Once we got in our cars Jordan calls Mira's phone "I'm gonna follow up behind you guys okay?" She says "Okay Ms Hines!" Mira say and I chuckle Mira hangs up and goes back to searching up the song she was telling me about. I search on the map and we was 28 minutes away from his shop .. shit I was closer then I thought. I began to pull of following the map.

•CYRUS POV•

"Bye Russ thank you!" She says and I nod "Mmhm" I said before turning my music back up and pulling off. I drive by a old couple standing at the bus stop and I smiled to myself wondering if I'll ever make it to that age... I started thinking about John and seeing his face covered in blood , I smile big but then that smile fades away when I thought about Ronnie.

"Shit" I mumbled to myself , I don't know how I'll tell her or.. maybe I won't , I mean she knows what she was getting herself into, John was never safe in my eyes. I hope Ronnie doesn't hear anything in the meantime about what I did to him , that'll break her.

I finally pull up to my uncles after about 14 minutes, I get out my car pulling my hood off and start laying my hair down with my hand as I walk into his shop."Hey Unk" I say looking at him as he sits down in the barber chair "What's good niece?!" He says sounding  happy to see me , I smile at him "Ain't shit , I need you to dice my shit up" I say looking in the mirror as I touch my hair "Now you know I got you , come take a seat" he says slowly getting up.

I walk up to the chair and take a seat , the throws the cape over me and starts to pump the chair a little , I close my eyes once I hear the clippers come on. He starts brushing the back of my hair  and I put my head down "Now I thought your friend was coming with you , what's her name..?" He asks and I chuckle "What are you talking about .. I don't got friends" I said thinking about how Ronnie cut me off the other day.

He begins fading the back of my hair , "The one girl , uhh randy , no I think her name starts with and R , she texted me" he said and I knew exactly who he was talking about , "Ronnie , yeah what about her?" I ask , pulling my phone out seeing Ty texted me wondering what I was up to. I hear the door open "front door" the alarm said . "Speaking of the devil!" My uncle says turning off his clippers to brush my hair out.

I lift my head up and thought I was seeing a ghost ! "Cyrus?" Ronnie asked , as if she was surprised to see me I don't say anything. I noticed she was with Mira , and some other dyke! Who the fuck is this?! I thought to myself , I couldn't help but look her up and down "Who's this cop looking bitch" I said staring at Jordan as I spoke to Ronnie .

"That's my bes-" Mira says before Ronnie runs overtop of her sentence  "Really Cyrus" Ronnie says looking at me as if she was irritated with my presence. "I'm Jordan Hines" She says walking up to me with her hand out , I stare at it and then at her "Can you move out my way" I tell her without blinking. She chuckled and walks back over towards Mira "Unk why you ain't tell me they was coming?" I say putting my head back down for him to cut.

"I thought ya homie Ronnie was coming with you I didn't know she had other people" he says chuckling and I roll my eyes. "She does look like a cop" he says whispering a little. I watch as Ronnie walks over to the waiting chairs and takes a seat , she looks over towards me and shakes her head but I didn't care.
