                             •RONNIE POV•

"Thank you for letting me use your phone Ms Juicy" I say as I hand her back her phone "Your welcome baby , you gonna be okay out here by yourself?" She says looking at me for a second "Yeah I'll be good" I say giving her a small smile , she shakes her head and waves her hand in a motion for me to come to her "I live right around the block you can wait at for your friend to pick you up at my house" she says .

I begin to walk with her "Thank you" I finally say after a few moments "Yeah don't worry about it , where you from?" She asked me as we turned the corner "Atlanta" I say turning around to see a few teenagers walking a feet steps behind us "Oh okay .. yeah I can tell by your accent" she says slowing down to dig in her purse for something I begin to slow down as well , the kids ended up walking by us now.

"Didn't realize I had one.. so you been in Chicago all your life?" I say as we start to walk again "No I moved from Ohio to Chicago with my ex husband and our sons back in 2009 and just been here since" she says as we walk up to a small house with a broken gate "Here we are" she says as we walk up to the front door "I truly appreciate you for helping me" I say as we step inside.

"Make yourself at home.. and It's really no problem sweetie plus you looked sad , you wanna talk about it?" She says as she walks towards the kitchen I look around her small living room and walk over to her couch and sit down and sigh. She reminds me of my foster mother before she turned into an asshole. She walks back out into the living room holding two colt 45 beers "You drink?" She says holding them up and I nod my head "Yes" she passes me the already open glass an I take a big sip. I honestly was so thirsty and hungry I didn't even realize till the beer reached my stomach.

"So what's your story? How'd you end up here?" She says sitting down on the recliner opposite from me , she kicks her slippers off and pulls the chair up and gets comfortable before taking a big sip of her beer. I scratch my head a little "My bestfriend just passed away.. I- I don't know what to do with myself, I don't even know why I'm still here.. my other good friend John is giving me mixed signals I'm not sure if he knows something about her death or not but I feel like I need to leave again." I let out - with out even thinking that this is a complete stranger.

I look around seeing a picture of her and another lady smiling "Oh I'm so sorry to hear about your friend, sometimes the best thing we think to do is run and get away from all the bullshit... But it truly never works out for long I tried running When my first born died and it didn't work, your clearly here for a reason maybe try to figure out what that is" she says taking another sip .

I sit and think for a few seconds about what she said as I also take another sip. "Your right.. I mean me running isn't gonna help anything and I should know, I ran from my situation in Atlanta and it followed me here!" I say sitting back as I rub my hand over my face "Mmhm that's life baby.." she says as I hear her take another gulp back "What should I do about John?" I say tilting my head back towards her she looks at me "If you gotta be questioning your friend John about your best friends death then clearly that tell me you don't trust him" she says.

"I don't, I gotta get to the bottom of this" I say massaging my temples "Everything done in the dark will come to the light" Ms juicy says and I smile "Your right" I say getting even more comfortable.
*Ring ring ring* her phone starts ringing "Hey baby can you get my phone off my table" she asked pointing to her wooden table that had a bunch of mail scattered across of it "Yeah" I set my drink down on the floor beside me and run over to her phone.

                               •CYRUS POV•

I arrive at the spot Ronnie asked me to but I don't see her. I circle around the block getting a little frustrated when I don't see her . "Fuck Ronnie where the hell are you" I say aloud to myself as I sigh and pull my phone out "Who's Ronnie?" Jaden says as he kicks his feet at the back of my seat "She's the friend I was telling you about, the reason why we came here" I say looking through my rear view mirror at a car pulling up behind me .

Two white girls get out and the car pulls off , "Is she your girlfriend?" Jaden asks and I quickly turn my body around so that I'm facing him. I stare at him for a second "No.. but she did kiss me tho" I say smirking to myself I don't care I'm not letting that go
"Can I play on your phone?" He asked me "No" I say circling the block again as I call the number that Ronnie called me from earlier .

It rings a few times before the lady answers "Hello who is this?" She says "H-hey my friend had called me from this number earlier i she told me she'd be outside but I don't see her.. did she happen to say if she was gonna be some place else?" I ask hoping she know where Ronnie was. "Oh she's right here with me.. I didn't want her to be alone- Uh Ronnie your friend- what was your name baby?" she asked , "It's Russ- Cyrus" i say rolling my eyes to myself "Okay got it.. your friend Cyrus is there waiting for you.. you gonna be okay getting back?" She asks I hear Ronnie say yes "Thanks" I say hanging up on her.

I put my phone away a drive back to where Ronnie told me to meet her originally, when I see her coming out of a house I pull up right out front she speed walks to the car. She gets in and I pull off "What are you doing over here?" I say looking over at her then back at the road "I needed to get some air.. I didn't even realize I walked this far, I just wanted to clear my mind" she says taking a deep breath .

"Okay that's understandable.. your phone die?" I ask making a left at the light "I broke it actually" she says looking out the window ".. how?" I say quietly as I look at her , she looked so sad like she needed a hug or something. "Hi" I hear a little voice say , I almost forgot he was here Ronnie jumps a little , she turns around seeing Jaden "Hey.. who's this?" She looks at me with a confused look "Jaden one of the kids on my block" I say looking in her eyes .

"What's he doing with you?" She asks sitting back in her seat "His momma not home , I didn't wanna leave him outside by his self" I say coming to a red light. "Do you like Russ?" He asked randomly, I quickly look at him through the rear view mirror then back at the road "What?" She says looking at me "Jaden what are you talking bout?!" I say sounding annoyed "Well you said she kissed you , that's what girlfriends do right?" he asked "You told him about that?" She says looking at me like I got 3 heads .

"Jaden here watch YouTube or something damn!" I say tossing my phone in the backseat. *BEEEP* the car behind me beeps at me , I didn't even know it was a green light I beep back before pulling off "Well I mean he asked if you was my girlfriend I told him no.. I didn't know he was gonna say that!" I say shrugging. "You never gonna let that shit go.." she says shaking her head , I just turn the music up as we head back.
