I grab me and Ronnie each a tropical sprite and a small bag of sour cream and onion chips. My knees still felt weak from the kiss me and Ronnie shared a few moments ago , I don't know what came over me but I wasn't mad at it. She smelled really good like mangos or something.. and I wasn't expecting us to tongue kiss but again .. I wasn't mad at it. I waited in line behind a older dark skin guy with a short buzz cut. He must've felt me staring because he turned around and gave me smile I looked at him and looked away. I look through the glass window at my car noticing it needs to be cleaned. "Hello can I help you?" The same guy I was on the phone with asked "I called in , large pizza half cheese half pepperoni" I said putting my items on the counter.

"Gotcha" he says turning behind him to grab my pizza out oven thingy. I watch as he slides the steamy hot pizza into a large box ."Okay , plus the two sprites and chips.. $24.89" he says , I reach in my pocket and pull out a small stack of money , I quickly spread it out finding a $10 and a $20 "Keep the change" I said watching as he opened the register and put the money in it "Thank you" he said , he grabs a bag and puts the soda and chips inside "Have a good night" he says as I grabbed the pizza and the bag. I carefully opened the door with my foot and head out the restaurant. I quickly walk over to my car and felt my heart speeding up what if Ronnie's watching me , Fuck I better not fall I thought.

I place the box on top of my car and quickly opened the door "Can you hold this" I asked bending down to hand Ronnie the box of pizza "Yeah of course" she said grabbing the box from my hands , I jump in the car and shut the door Fuck it's cold as hell out there.
"Damn this shit smells so good" Ronnie said and it was true , that's all I could smell. I turn around and put the bag on the back seat "Real shit , okay let's go" I said putting the car in drive I pull out the parking lot and get back on the road. Luckily I lived a few blocks away, I was pretty exhausted from running around I just wanna take a hot shower and get in my bed I thought.

"I found a movie for us to watch it's on Tubi do you got that?" She asked , I forgot this girl likes watching movies and shit , truth be told I don't really like watching TV all like that but I don't mind watching something with her tonight "Uhh I think so" I said sounding a little unsure. I feel my phone ringing inside my pocket and I pull it out seeing it was Khalil
I swipe answer and put it up to my ear "Hello" I said wondering what he was calling about "Yo boss we found out where them shots came from , some bull tried to rob a bitch and she popped him , they saying it was some girl name Brittany, ring any bells?" he asked and I tried to think of all the Brittany's I know.

"Which one?" I asked as I made a turn once at the end of the corner "Which one was it again folks?" He said talking to somebody in the background and I heard spice say Wallace and I gasp loud "Brittany Wallace? Oh shit , damn who the nigga that tried to rob her?" I asked looking forward. "Some nigga name Rex that's all we know for now" he said and I shook my head "Aight , the cops come?" I asked and he says "Mmhm" and I'm glad I left when I did I don't do the police I like to keep as low key as possible "Aight folks y'all stay low and tell them goofy ass niggas to stop Lolly gagging , all that playing dice shit while you on the block dead with , them niggas was lacking I'll hit you Thursday" I said hanging up the phone.

"Everything good?" Ronnie says and I shook my head yes "Those gun shots we heard , were from this girl name Brittany apparently some nigga tried robbing her and she dropped his ass" I said still in disbelief. "Sounds like you know her" she says and I looked over at her "I do" I pull up on my block seeing a couple folks was standing around smoking and drinking I could hear the music being played off Jadens porch I'm starting to get sick of being in this neighborhood I thought to myself .

I pull my phone out and call my uncle Marcus and let him know I was on my block "Okay Billy should be there in like 2 minutes" Billy was Marcus's friend who grabs a small bag from time to time "Okay , Ima get up with you Unk" I said and I heard him say okay and that he loves me , I didn't say it back I just hung up. "I gotta wait for somebody, go inside" I said looking over at her "You sure ? I can wait" she says and I shook my head "Go" I said a little aggressive , I just want a little alone time so I gather my thoughts together "Okay , give me your house key real quick" she says and I grab my keys out my pocket , I turn the car light on so I could see better.

Once I get the key off the hook I hand it to her "I'll be in , in a few minutes" I said grabbing the blunt which was pretty much a clip "Okay" she said opening up the door and getting out the car. I watch as she closed the door with her hip and slowly walked around to the front of the car. I turn the light out and grab the lighter watching Ronnie walk towards the apartment building I noticed how thick she looked in those jeans. I eyebrow raise quickly , her ass looks good I thought. I quickly shake the thought away , Fuck why do I keep thinking about her like that.

I spark the blunt and take a big ass hit , I got on my phone and go to iMessage seeing group 1 was texting in group chat. He sent a article about John and I felt my heart speed up as I began reading it , it states , The Chicago police department got a disturbing call approximately around 11:26pm stating that there were three people on the side walk unresponsive. Police arrived at 6400 block of North king drive at 11:32pm where they discovered 34 year Brandon Harris also known as "Bub" found dead with 2 gun shot wounds in the center of his chest.

Police also found 23 year old John Maiden "JM" with 4 gunshot wounds to the body , once in the face , shoulder , his hand and the leg. The last victim also known as 29 year old Tyreek Davis "Reek" was found shot twice in the stomach , once in the leg and once in the neck area. We are asking for anyone who has any information to please come forward , police believed this was gang affiliated because each person had a green bandanna on them. I heard I knock at my window and I slightly jumped. I look around seeing it was the old head Billy standing at my passenger window , I unlock the car and allow him to get in . I grab my book bag from the back seat "Hey how you doing young lady" he says getting in the car smelling like whiskey. "Fine , what did you need again?" I asked looking over at him. "A small Bag , I got $300" he says holding the money out , I peeped it was all $20s I turn my car light on and grab the money. I quickly count it and make sure it's real before pulling out a small bag of crack.

"I'll tell your uncle the next time I'm gonna need , thanks Russ" he says taking it out my hand and quickly opening up the door and getting out. I watch as he hops back in his pick up truck. It had a whole bunch of metal on that back , I look down at the money and zip the small part of my bag open and stuff the money inside . I did good today I thought I turn my light bag out and zipper the bag up. I turn my car off and hop out , fuck I forgot the bag , I open the door back up and grab the bag from the store and shut the door back. "Yo what's good Russ" this guy I know said and I nod my head towards him as I walk by. I finally get inside the building and head to my apartment wondering what movie Ronnie's gonna have me watching.
