A Ruined Afternoon

•CYRUS POV•

I wake up to the sweet smell of bacon , I could hear Ronnie in the kitchen singing.. she's clearly in a good mood I thought grabbing my phone from under my pillow. I check the time seeing it was 1:19pm I didn't realize I sleep in , truth be told this was the best sleep I've had in a while. I begin to think about earlier this morning and I smirk to myself , we really made out !

I put my hand over my mouth trying to cover the smile on my face as I got up out her bed. I walked to the bathroom and quickly sat on the toilet. I looked over in the mirror and quickly fixed my hair back in place before washing my hands. I noticed my toothbrush was still there from the last time I say over and I just used that.

After I get done out the bathroom I slowly walked down to the living room , Ronnie was playing music from the tv but it wasn't loud so that's why I didn't hear it in the room. I look over at Ronnie who had her back turned , she made pancakes, eggs , bacon.. is that grits?? I walked over towards the counter and grabbed a piece of paper towel off the roll to wipe the remaining water off my face. "Oh good afternoon !" Ronnie said in a high pitched tone , I look over at her and gave her a quick smile.

"You like sausage?" She said and I shook my head "Yeah" I said scrolling through YouTube with the remote "Thought so" she said I heard a timer go off "Okay everything is done , I'll make your plate after we smoke real quick" she said walking out the kitchen and towards me and I didn't know what to say. "We're gonna smoke in my room today" she said motioning me to follow her and I do. I watch as she walks in front of me , wondering how in the world is she up moving around like this like she wasn't tore the fuck up last night.

We get to her room and I sit on bed and she sits on this big fluffy grey beanbag chair , she pulled it closer towards me and plops down. "So let me start of by saying .. I didn't mean to throw up on you last night" she said chuckling as she holds the blunt up to her face , I could tell she felt better about it today. I shrugged my shoulders "It's okay , stop saying sorry" I said playing with a loose string I found on her bed.
"Okay ! That's my last time" she said after blowing the smoke out her mouth.

We sat and smoke for a few minutes before she randomly asked me if I remember the kiss we shared "Yeah" I said getting a little nervous , I looked down at my hands and started to pick at my nails "..Did you like the kiss this time?" She asked as if she were nervous as to what I might say.. Hell I'm nervous as to what I might say! I sat there in silence. I wasn't gonna tell her yes because I know that was gonna start something .. but I also wasn't gonna lie so why not act like I don't hear her.

I inhaled the blunt and passed it back to her "You hear me?" She asked and I shook my head no , lying.
"I said did you like-" she said before we heard knocking at the door. She jumped as if she was scared , "I'll get it" I said jumping up , I swiftly walked out the room and brown the hall then another knock came and intrigued me. I heard ronnie walking out from her room and the only reason I knew is because she keeps dragging her slippers on the ground , need to pick her feet up I thought as I reached the door I looked in the peep hole and instantly got irritated.

I looked over at Ronnie "It's your friends.." I said in a low tone as I slowly walked away I heard Ronnie tell me to open the door for them and I rolled my eyes to myself , I quickly open the door and walked towards the kitchen. "RONNIE ! What's up folks?!" Mira said walking up to her to dap her up. I grabbed a plate out the cabinet and began making my plate starting with the pancakes. "Heyy what's good gang?" She said and I wanted to gag , I don't know how Ronnie can hang out with dumb and dumber... maybe that's how she sees FBA I thought as I scooped some eggs on my plate.

"Just got done taking a shot , uh you don't look like your ready.." Mira says looking at Ronnie with big eyes. "Oh shit ! I honestly forgot all about that , I was wondering why you guys popped up We're supposed to go to the museum today " Ronnie  said face palming her forehead. I wanted to laugh because it seemed like she didn't really care to go.. I mean she told me nothing about it so maybe she didn't wanna be with those two. "Hey Ronnie" Jordan just now said.. I roll my eyes again as I mix butter in my grits . "Hey Jordan" she said giving her a small smile.

"Well go get dressed Ronnie !" Mira said giving her a smile "Okay let me eat first , are y'all hungry?" Ronnie said walking into the kitchen . I give her a look and she smirked "Yeah! You hungry Jor?" I Mira ask that's when she made eye contact with me "Yoyo what's good Russ?" She said walking towards the kitchen , I shook my head "Nothing trying to eat" I said cutting my pancakes using the fork.

I grab my food and walk out the kitchen , Jordan stood by the door scrolling on her phone. I walked passed her and sat down on the couch , I begin eating my food when Mira comes back out with a plate with pancakes , eggs and bacon for Jordan "I know you probably already ate" Mira said and Jordan chuckled as she took the plate .

"You look comfy Russ" Mira said looking over at me , I glanced down at my clothes remembering these were still Ronnie's I bit my lip, what if that bitch knows something I thought sitting back "Mmhm , You tryna be funny bitch?" I said and Mira shook her head No "I just never seen you in something like that , usually your all dressed up , looks like something Ronnie would wear" she said jokingly I mean she wasn't wrong they are Ronnie clothes.

"Fuck you" Ronnie shouted from the kitchen her and Mira started laughing. I took a piece of bacon of my plate and watched as Mira walked back into the kitchen. I pulled my phone out and felt Jordan staring at me , I looked over at her "What you staring at?" I asked giving her a look "Bro , Why do you gotta be so mean to Mira.. she really likes you" Jordan said by my surprise and I looked at her like she was crazy "Do you know me?" I said and she shook her head and her curls bounced a little "No but , I heard things about you" she said and something about that pissed me off.

"I bet you did , this my city dummy ! Where you say you was from?" I asked side eyeing her "I'm from New Jersey I moved here 3 years ago" she says as she rubs the back of her neck and I squinted my face up a little "Ima just say this not jersey bitch so tread lightly.." I said looking her up and down before turning back to my food , She began laughing sarcastically.. like I won't smack her teeth down her throat. See I don't know why Ronnie let them in here ! And to think I was actually gonna tell her that was the best kiss Ive had in quite a long time , and I'm not exaggerating...

"So you coming with us to the museum?" Mira to me with a plate in her hand , Ronnie followed up behind her "Yes she's coming" she says sounding excited , truth be told I really didn't have anything to do except make a couple traps but I was not about to spend my day with those two "No I'm not" I said giving look at Ronnie , she came and sat down by me "Why not?" She pretty much whispered in my ear , I felt my stomach tingle thinking about when she was kissing on me last night. I shake the thought away "I got stuff to do" I said to Ronnie , she looked a little confused when I said that but didn't question me.
