͙˚* Johnny ͙˚*

March 4, 2005

It was Gracelyn's birthday today, so I knew when I stepped inside the kitchen, the whole family would be there. Grace had enough birthdays with our family for me to know my mam would be baking a cake and she'd be taking Addy out on the town.

So it was no surprise when I stepped in the kitchen and Grace was standing beside the counter with Addy.

"Happy birthday, Gracie," I smiled, "I'd hug you but I'm all sweaty from training."

"I'm perfectly fine with sweat," She blurted out and then in typical Grace fashion, she pulled me into a tight hug.

My hands almost slid to her waist but I decided I should probably keep them on her back.

When she let go, my mam smiled and asked, "So, Gracelyn, what are you getting up to tonight?"

"I'm taking Addy out on the town," She grinned, "We are going to find hot, rich men to dance with." She then looked to me, "Unless, Johnny wants to come as well."

She was confident, I'd give her that.
But I most definitely did not want to go out with my little sister and her friend—not to say I didn't like hanging out with them.

"Oh, absolutely not," I shook my head, "I'm not spending my Friday night getting drunk with the pair of ye!"

"Johnny," Addy whined, "Please! It'll be fun."

Adeline begging me to come out with her was completely out of the norm. She'd been acting really strange lately and it was causing me a lot of anxiety.

"Come on!" She begged more, "And Dec, you can come too! It can be like sibling bonding!"

Yeah, this was weird.

"Grace isn't our sibling," Declan pointed out.

"She basically is," Addy rolled her eyes.

"I am most definitely not Johnny's sister!" Grace gaped.

"You know what I mean," Addy groaned, "You can invite Gerard too."

And there it was. She wanted to see my best friend. I should've known there was an ulterior motive.

"Is this just an excuse to see Gibsie?" I furrowed my brows.

"What? No!" The blush on her cheeks said otherwise, "It was just a suggestion."

"Still crushing on, Gibs," Declan laughed at Addy, "Not much has changed."

"Oh, she's constantly flirting with him," I gagged, completely repulsed by Addy's crush on Gibsie.

"Boys, leave your sister alone," Da spoke up.

Addy had him wrapped around her finger. I swear there was never a time he sided with us boys.

Adeline looked at me with puppy dog eyes and I tried to resist but I gave in,  "Fine. I'll hop in the shower."
