[Y/n's PoV]

After the events that all transpired here at Amphoreus, I could say that our situation here doesn't seem so bad- well, except for the battle with the Titan, Nikador... and maybe the upcoming battles with the black tide. Anyways, Me and Dan Heng had only been here for a few weeks, and the locals already took a liking towards us.

Of course, who wouldn't? They are rather isolated from the rest of the universe and barely have visitors, so it makes sense that we would be a topic of conversation, especially a strange duo like us who put a bit of effort to earn the flame chasers trust, especially Aglaea's.

So far, the two of us were just wandering around Okhema to where Dan Heng seemed to be looking for something.

"Dan Heng. What exactly are you looking for?" I asked, walking next to him.

He was looking around the area of the marketplace. It was rather busy here as many people are currently out and about, shopping for necessities or other things I guess?

Dan Heng then turned to look at me. "Hmm? Ah, nothing in particular. Just doing a bit of sightseeing for March to see."

"That's it? Booriinggg. I'm craving some action for my bat right now."

He sighed at my comment. "Action can wait, Y/n. The last thing the both of us need is getting into trouble. The people here already have enough problems to worry about as it is."

I shrugged, "Are you going to be like this the whole day? If you are, I'll be more happy to accompany someone at her invitation, and you're not invited."

Dan Heng just looked at me, but didn't bother responding to my comment. He just went back on looking around the marketplace in silence.

I shook my head and sighed.

"...Aren't you at least going to ask who invited me?"

He was just silent for a few seconds before speaking again.

"Do I need to ask? I've already guessed who the person is. Castorice." Dan Heng then looked at me as he crossed his arms.

"Aww man, how did you guess?" I asked.

"It's not that hard to guess, considering you two have formed a special bond since we met her, and... you are the only one who isn't affected by her touch."

"Whaattt? We don't have THAT special bond." I exaggerated which Dan Heng gave me a stern look.

"Y/n. The both of you literally touch each other in any way possible. You touch her hand all the time. She hug you like she's hugging a childhood friend. You also rest your head on her shoulder whenever the two of you are alone. I could go on, really." He shook his head.

"Ah..haha! Well you looked at the time! I need to meet with her right now, see you later!!" I said as I ran off.

I could hear him calling my name but I didn't bother to listen. Instead I ran off to a more secluded part of the city to meet with Castorice.

After a bit of jogging, I finally reached the place she told me to meet up with.

As I arrived, I saw her looking up at the sky with her back facing me.

I walked next to her and she immediately noticed my presence.

"Y/n, you're 15 minutes early." She said in a flat tone.

I just shrugged. "I was just fast I guess." I replied.

She just hummed in response as we both looked up at the sky in silence for a few minutes. Castorice was the one to break the silence first by speaking.
