In Islam, the worst sin is to say that God has a Son. In Christianity, the worst thing we can do is to deny that the Lord Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God. He is our only hope.
Jesus isn't God's Son in a fleshly sense. He is the eternal image of the invisible God. If we want to know what God's like, we need look no further than Jesus.
This verse is an amazing, powerful, and provocative statement. By simply acknowledging that Jesus is the Son of God, we get God's Holy Spirit taking up residence in our hearts. He begins to change us from the inside out.
We have a glorious future to look forward to in the Lord Jesus. Because He gave His life for us, we can live for eternity with Him in glory. All praise belongs to Him!
