A fifteen years old girl with overweight, acne problems, big glasses and greasy hair walks through the halls while many students threw her insults. "Pig", "Four eyes", "Fatty", "Deformed" and many insults more. She wanted to say something back to them, but she was too shy to do so. Plus, what would she say back? And why would she? She says that and even worse things to herself all the time in her head. She hates herself with all her heart and soul. And it's a mistery to her if she started to believe she was disgusting after hearing it so much from others or if she always thought like that.
She has no friends, her best friend is her mother, and doesn't know how to change things. She likes one guy, the only guy that treats her like a human being out of the popular guys: John. With his electric blue eyes and blonde long hair. He always treated her nice, and one day, he asked her out. Lana should have known that it was a trap, but she didn't. She showed up at the movies in her best clothes, but John never showed up. The next day, she saw him making out with Julie, and they all laughed at her as she kept walking.
That day, Lana locked herself in the bathroom and cried and cried. And told herself that she needed to make a change, and she was determined to do so. Lana wouldn't stop until she got it.She started to do some work out, changed her diet completely, begin to use new products on her hair, started to use contacts and begin to go to singing and piano lessons, where she met her best friends and her first boyfriend, Carl, this cute tall guy with black hair and gray eyes.
And just a couple of months later, she was a whole new person.
She walked through the halls, all her classmates staring at her, withouth believing what they were seeing, withouth saying a word to her, and Lana acted with so much confidence. Many guys that bullied her asked her out, many girls that bullied her trying to be friends with her. But she would just ignore them, withouth even giving them a response.
Her parents couldn't believe her changes.
Now Lana Sunderland was a completely different person.
