"So, things have going okay between you and Julie?" Nick asked. They were at Lana's party in her mansion, sitting in her couch.
"Why you ask?"
"Because you hadn't thrown a party in over a month, you suddenly went to Europe 'alone' and avoided every single person that tried to kiss you here"
"Well, I can't go around having threesomes or anything when I have a girlfriend" Nick hugged her.
"My best friend has a girl-" Lana shushed him inmediatly, putting a hand on his face.
"Can you keep it down? No one knows yet, and Julie hasn't come out to anyone yet. Just don't tell anyone" She said.
"Are you seriously dating a girl that didn't come out yet, Lana? Like, you're the first girl she's been with?"
"Yeah, why?" She replied, confused.
"Look, Lana... you know I want you to be happy, but I feel obligated to tell you that is not the best idea. You have to be prepared to date someone who constantly wants to hide you, you might feel like that person is ashamed of you" He explained. "It happend to me with Tim"
"Look, I know that can happen, I'm aware of it. But I really like her, I haven't liked anyone like this in so long, and I'm not going to pressure her or anything. I'm fine with how things are going" Lana replied.
"You say that now, but you never know. Getting in a relationship with someone who doesn't want to come out can be really exhausting. I'm telling you from experience, when I was with Tim... it just consumed me" He said.
"Will you stop it already? I haven't felt like this in so long, and I thought I wouldn't feel this way in at least a long time. I know it's hard to come out, she can take her own time. I'm not in a hurry" She replied.
"I'm sorry, but as your friend, I feel obligated to warn you" Lana just glanced at him, but didn't bother to respond.
Julie walked inside, wearing this red dress and her hair on a high ponytail, and Lana's eyes light up inmediatly. "God, I can't believe some people actually thought you only liked boys. You're as straight as your hair" Lana snorted, and just sat there, waiting for Julie. Julie said hi to Lana's friends and then sat next to her.
"You look hot" She whispered in her ear, Julie didn't reply with words, but with a subtle smile, glancing at her for a second. Nick rolled his eyes and walked away.Lana brushed her fingers against Julie's, they both felt this electricity.
They hang out together, Lana showed her all the places in the mansion."How can you live here?" Julie asked.
"I actually don't live here, I only use this place only to throw parties, hang out with friends or to come when I need some time away from the city. Yeah, I usually don't enjoy living in places so big. Is too lonely"
"You should get a dog" Julie suggested.
"Yeah, I have been thinking about getting one. But I don't know, I just always forget" Julie grabbed her hand, and they walked across the hall together.
"I like holding hands" She said, and kissed Julie's hand. "And... that dress looks amazing on you"
"You said that already. Besides... I needed to keep your attention on me. I've seen how those guys and girls were looking at you" Lana pinned Julie against a wall.
"Some were looking at you, and those are completely banned from the party" Her lips brushed over hers for a second, and her girlfriend smiled at her.
"I didn't think you were the jealous kind" Lana pressed her body against hers.
"I guess I can be. But you drive me crazy" She kissed her girlfriend again, then grabbed her hand and they began to walk. "Let's go"They kept smiling and walking, but when Julie saw someone coming, she inmediatly dropped Lana's hand.
Lana knew Julie would do something like that, but it still hurt her.
