Julie was going to her house to face her parents, she was going with her sister Tara and her brother Roy. A tall handsome man with a buzz cut, dark skin and amber eyes.

"Don't worry, Jules. We'll have your back" Roy said.
"Yeah, everything will be alright. We're here" Tara add. She was feeling relieved and protected by the fact that her older siblings were backing her up and supporting her so much, despite being so distanced this past years. They just knew they had to look out for their little sister on this situation, because if they didn't, who would?

Julie sat on a couch, on their parents living room, and they were both standing in front of her. Her dad, Harold, also tall, bald, with brown eyes, dark skin, kinda chubby and who usually dressed really formal with sweaters and fancy pants was walking around the room. On the other hand, her mother, Alma, was just standing and looking at the floor. Green eyes, light brown skin, an athletic figure and a face that looks way younger than she is. Usually wearing casual clothes that looks really good on her, and her straight brown hair reaching her shoulders.

"Julie, you know I've never been really fond of the way you've chosen to live your life, but this is something I thought would never happend. We worked hard to give you what you had, real hard to raise all of you. All of this for you to date some promiscuous popstar? A girl? You have any idea how that's hitten this family image"
"Dad, come on! Don't be ridiculous, there's nothing wrong with her liking girl" Roy shot back.
"And who the hell cares if she was dating a girl? It's not like she killed someone" Tara add. Julie was sitting in the middle of her older siblings like a little kid. She knew this would happen, and to her surprise, it isn't making her upset, it's making her angry.
"She surely killed this family reputation by dating that evil slut that's nothing more than a cheap popstar" Her dad said, and it filled her with rage. No matter what happend, she still loved Lana, and couldn't stand anyone speaking of her like that. Fixing her amber eyes on her father, she stood up and walked to him.
"You don't have a say on how I live my life. None of you ever gave a fuck about me, all you ever cared about were your stupid image and your stupid fake relationships with those pretentious white rich assholes. You were awful parents and were never there for me, I don't care what you think of my life and my personality, 'cause you truly don't know me at all. You never bother to even try. And you're not... nice people. I don't want you in my life" Julie said. The room went dead silent, and she stormed out of the room. She closed her eyes and tried to calm herself down a bit, but it was really hard, and withouth even thinking, she grabbed her phone and called Lana. She didn't pick up and went to voicemail.

"Hey Lana I... I'm calling to tell you that I miss you and... I'm still angry at you. To be honest, I'm not quite sure if you were the responsible or not anymore, but I love you and I need you and I just... god, I can't believe I'm saying this, but I don't care anymore. I just want to be with you" She said. Julie never thought she would lower herself like that, but she loved Lana, and was actually willing to let something like that pass to be with her. When she turned around, she saw her mother standing beside her.

"Julie..."
"You came here to call me ungrateful or sick or some shit like that?" She replied, but her mother shook her head.
"No, Jules. I think you're right about us" That response shocked her. "We have been bad parents, haven't been present for you. I've been too ashamed to admit that, but I am sorry. I want to fix things, I want to be there for you, Julie. You're my daughter and... I love you. I don't care who you date and what you do, nothing will change that" Her mother said, and for a second, Julie felt the impulse to tell her she would forgive her, but inmediatly backed down.
"You're too late, mom. You're too late..." She said, and walked away. Her siblings came behind her, but she assured them she was fine and she would keep in touch. But right now, she needed to find Lana.
