Lana was on a rented cabin in Ushuaia, Tierra del Fuego, Argentina.
She was having a good time going to excursions in the snow all by herself, and had some fans that had asked for pictures with her, but none had hit it the internet yet. At least not in United States.
However, most people didn't recognize her or didn't care that she was there. The ones that did weren't invasive, so she was really comfortable and planned to stay for a while.
However, it was june eleventh, Julie's birthday. She was turning twenty four today. She just remembered she had planned a big gift for her, but didn't send it. Instead, she went to a bar and started drinking. She was feeling really good lately, but today wasn't that day.
She was drinking alone when someone called her name, and this time, the voice sounded familiar. Lana turned her head and was shocked to see Carl, her ex boyfriend. Same soft gray eyes, but his black hair was long now and thrown to the left, reaching his shoulders. He was the type of guy to actually look good with long hair, like Harry Styles or Heath Ledger. His face is just so beautiful and she really likes the long hair. Plus his sharp jaw, natural red lips and defined eyebrowns. Way taller than her. Wearing black jeans, black boots, a gray sweater, black jacket and a gray scarf.

"Carl?" She asked, and he showed her a smile. Lana smiled back, feeling her heart warming up, stood up and they both walked to each other. Carl opened his arms for a hug, and she surrounded her arms around him, pressing her head against his chest as they both smiled. "What are you doing here?"
"I came here to see you" He replied. Lana was shocked to hear that, but then realized that the chances of running into him in the literal end of the world was not really something that had high chances of happening.
She lifted her head for a second to look into his clear gray eyes.
"What?"
"Yeah, Nick told me you were going through a rough time and I was worried" He said, tucking a strand of her hair behind her ear. She laid her head against his chest again, and Carl buried his head on her neck. They stayed like that for a while, neither of them wanting to let go. She didn't know how much she needed this hug. They order some drinks, and Carl was just admiring her. God, it always amazed him how beautiful she is..

"So... what you've been up to this past years?" She asked him.
"I became a photography director"
"I heard that, but didn't know if it was true. I thought you wanted to be a teacher" Lana told him.
"I changed my mind when I found out how poorly they paid" She smiled, and he smiled back. "I heard you were about to drop a new album"
"Yeah, we are about to drop another single. I finished the album last week"
"Is the album about that girl you were seeing?" He asked. Of course he knew.
"Part of it. But I guess the other part is more about how I felt this past years... it took me a while to find the inspiration write again. It was hard" She explained.
"You were scared of failing, weren't you?"
"Yeah, I was. She helped me to overcome that" Lana said, her eyes were not meeting his for a second.
"I loved the new song you dropped. It sounded different but at the same time so... you" She grinned.
"Yeah, I guess it did..."
"So, who's this girl you were in love with?" Lana hesitated about telling her ex about her most recent ex. "Come on, you can talk to me" He said, but for some reason, he wasn't quite sure if he wanted to hear it.
"I just... I had a bad experience in the relationship I had after ours. So bad that it... made me not try to date someone in a serious way again for a while, until Julie showed up. I falled hard for her, like, real hard. Even thought that she could be the love of my life but... she didn't want to come out and we had many discussions, and one day we went to my favorite restaurant, pictures of us showed up online and she accused of me being the responsible of it. She literally accused me of it" She explained, staring at the wall. Carl grabbed her hand and stared her into her eyes. "She really broke my heart"
"She's definitly one hell of an idiot then" He said, and really meant it. Lana burst out a small laugh. No one had been so direct.
"What about you? Have you date anyone that seriously?" Carl showed her a smirk.
"I dated this girl for two years. Karen"
"Wrong start with the name" He snorted.
"Yeah. Everything was going great or so I thought. Turns out she was still into her ex, she probably cheated and then dumped me for him. It took me a while to process everything, I felt like the biggest idiot in the world. I haven't tried to date ever since"
"Wow, we really had no luck in love, had we?" He smiled and shook his head.
"No, definitly not" They made a toast, and they spend hours talking about experiences they had. They lost track of time, and Carl stayed with her on her cabin. Luckly, there were two beds.
