When Julie left, Lana begin to walk around her penthouse really fast. She felt acelarated and couldn't calm down, and was trying to catch her breathing. Things between her and Julie were done... were done forever. She sat down, laying her back against the door, picked up her phone and thought about calling Lana, about fixing things. But just erased her phone number from her cellphone and threw it against the wall, smashing it.
She tried to breath, but it was so hard. And then it hit her. She was thinking Julie could be the love of her life. She had fallen so hard for her, they had connected like she hadn't connected with anyone before. Not in the same way at least. Julie had shown her that love could be real, had picked up the pieces of her broken heart carefully and put it back together, only to break it again in just a couple seconds.
Her heart literally hurt as she cried on the floor, rubbing her chest with the palm of her hand, trying to ease the pain. It killed her that the person she's in love with thinks so low of her. And she has not way of proving Julie that she's wrong. She stayed there for a whole day, withouth eating, just staying there. She spend the next two days withouth even energy to cry, sleeping on the floor.
Lana forced herself to take a shower and brush her teeth, changed her clothes, gray sweat pants and a black hoodie, got on her car and decided to drive to her hometown, praying for people to not recognize her.She got to her hometown and drove to her mother's house late at night, and got inside her old house. Lana wasn't even with the energy of remembering memories, she just felt so low.
"Honey, what happend?" Her mother asked, noticing her daughter's face, but Lana just crumbled on her arms and started crying, and her mother understood inmediatly what had happend. She hold her daughter as she cried in her arms.
"It will alright, baby... it will be alright" She repeated as she rubbed her daughter's back and caressed her face. She kissed the top of her head and hold her tight.
She definitly did not like Julie now, and there was no turning back from that. It hurt her so much to see her daughter like that than she didn't care what was the reason, she despised Julie now.Lana's mother prepared her bed and covered her with a blanket, kissing her forehead and holding her hand until she fell asleep withouth asking her a single question. Lana felt like a little kid again, although she wasn't a kid, but could always rely on her mother consoling her when she cried. She just needed that.
