After insisting to Nick for a while, he finally agreed on setting a meeting between Julie and Lana. Julie felt like he needed to apologize to finally move on.
They met on the terrace of a building, Julie walked in, and Lana was there. Staring at the sky, wearing black jeans, black boots, a gray sweater and a black wool cap.
Julie's heart froze when she saw her, and felt a rush of emotions when Lana looked at her, with those mesmerizing green eyes. Her face didn't show many emotion, and truth was, Lana didn't know what she was feeling. Julie had cut her curly hair, it barely reached her shoulders now. She was wearing a red hoodie, dark jeans and black vans. Her amber eyes were shining, and she looked different.
Slowly, Julie walked to Lana. And their heartbeats raised with each step. Julie stood a meter away from her.

"Hey" She said.
"Hi" Lana replied. "It's been a while..."
"Yeah"
"I heard you're doing great with your new book. That's great" Julie nodded.
"I didn't come here to talk about that"
"I know..." Julie took a deep breath, closing her eyes for a brief second.
"I just wanted to say I'm sorry for not believing in you... for accusing you of something like that. I know it's definitly over between us, and I know that there will be no coming back from that. But I hope you don't think that I didn't love you or that I don't regret what I did, because to this day I still do.
I just hope you can forgive one day and you don't hate me forever, that you don't stay with the bad things of me. Because I... believed you were the love of my life for a while. Anyway, I'm just sorry for everything, and thanks for everything you did for me" Lana sighed and felt a rush of emotions, her eyes a bit teary. Looking right into Julie's eyes as her voice was breaking.
"I don't hate you... god, I could never hate you, Julie. You hurt me a lot with your accusations, but I... got over that a while ago. You meant a lot to me, and you still do. I wrote you an e-mail, I know you read it, but I wanted to tell you this in person. You helped me believe I could find love again, and even though things ended badly between us, I... I'll always remember you. And I truly thought you were the love of my life" That meant a lot to Julie. It gave her a feeling of sadness and happiness to hear from her what she already knew.
"Anyway I just... wanted to tell you that. Goodbye, Lana"
"Goodbye, Jules" Julie walked away withouth saying another word, feeling relieved. Some tears falling down her face, but she finally felt as if she could move on.

Lana also teared up a bit, and Carl showed up out of nowhere to clean the tears away from her face, wich shocked his girlfriend.
"Look, I gotta be honest with you, I'm not in love with Julie anymore but... she meant so much to me, and I feel like she will always someone important to me. This affected me more than I could tell you" Carl nodded.
"I don't particullary like to hear about that girl, but you can always talk to me about it. I love you, Lana" Her girlfriend smiled, and he held his face, fixing her gray eyes into hers, and touching her dimples with his thumbs, making her giggle.
"I love you too, Carl" He pressed his lips against hers, and it was enough to get Julie out of her mind. He was the only one able to get Julie out of her life, the only one Lana could ever love more than Julie.

Julie sat on a bar, drinking a cocktail alone, when she saw a woman with dark brown skin, straight long black hair with bangs, honey eyes and a beautiful face. Wearing this red dress. She sat close to her.
"Hey" She said.
"Hi" Julie replied, mesmerized by the woman's beauty.
"I'm Tabitha"
"I'm Julie" The girl smiled at her, and as they talked about themselves, deep down she knew that she would fall for this woman. But she told herself that this time, if things went right, she wouldn't mess things up.
